I would suggest doing a full wipe for maximum performance.

Also, to everyone, Sandy did some damage and it's hard to find power or Internet, so builds may be intermittent this week
I did do a full wipe, data, dalvik cache, everything. At any rate, after using this rom for a few weeks now, it is zooming. I'm not sure what was bogging it down the first couple days, but it's super smooth now. The only question I have now is how do I wipe away all notifications at once? There is no "X" at the top of the notification window so I have to wipe away each one seperately.

Downloaded and flashed your latest rom 11-27.
Works flawless!!
Whats the difference between your rom and pershoots latest nightly?
Thanks btw for your work...
Well, Pershoot's latest nightly (11/12 I believe) was built from the same source as mine, but obviously there have been many updates to the source code since then. CyanogenMod's source is changing all the time. As people push new features or bug fixes to the main tree, I pull them down and build them into a ROM. If you're REALLY curious as to the changes, you can look here, and go through all the changes merged into the "jellybean" branch since 11/12.

This may sound like a real n00b question (I am completely unfamiliar with the git and "trees" for the source builds) but will this build ever be updated to a 4.2.1 source at all?

Just updated to JB with this absolute wonderful ROM. Thank for the joy Patrick.

Sorry if been asked already, but does the theme chooser work with this build? On ICS aokp ROM that I ran before I tried to apply a theme and all I got were massive FC's. Please don't flame me, just looking for a quick yes or no.
