Tablets
Latest version of tablet ui, clean up the notifications panel, fix clock click actions… act

all PUB
put some degraded string routines back into PUB to fix apps still using them… i.e. Plague

Manta
Started compiling inline with a kernel Xoomdev and myself are working on.
Thanks to ktoonsez for the cpu and gpu tables. That makes life easier as a good starting point.

You'll notice we don't have as many governors, schedulers and bells and whistles
Ill leave that to the full time kernel devs this is just supposed to be simple, fast, clean.

you can still use KTweaker to modify cpu, gnu and governor. Until performance control is fixed and updated.

Thank you very kindly!

Is there any shot of getting ParanoidAndroid features in AOKP? I love AOKP on my toro, but being able to set per-app layouts on this is an absolute killer feature. It's the only thing that keeps me from running AOKP as a DD on my tablet.

Hey Steve, what's up?

So when I flashed your latest build with navbar toggle, it got me thinking about a way to make it more useful/easily accessible. I think it would be super dope to have some power BUTTON options. For example, I would love to be able to, rather than use a simple press of the power button to lock the device, use the a single press to toggle the navbar. Then, maybe a double tap, or a long-press could lock the phone. I have no idea as to the ease of actually implementing something like this. Just a thought.

Another one I had, and I think its been discussed before, is adding targets to the Google Now swipe ring (idk what else to call it) similar to the lockscreen targets. It would be awesome to make the navbar 1px high so its basically hidden, but we could swipe up from the bottom to hit targets that have the usual soft key actions.

Thanks for allowing me to share my thoughts!

You already have a 'power' button option for the navbar. That will do the same function as single pressing your power button. In the ICS version, I had made shortcuts to the toggle NavBar action which you could then use on the Navbar. We haven't pulled those shortcuts back in yet, but will do so when we get time.

Adding functions to the Google Now ring has been heavily discussed and will likely happen. I think someone out their in Android land may have already done this.

Awesome, thanks for the reply. I think there may be some confusion about the power button thing.

What I meant was, not an option to avoid using the power button and instead using a softkey for the same function, but rather, i meant using the power button to toggle the navbar.

Stoked to hear about the Google Now ring :)

edit: reread how I previously explained it, and damn no wonder there was confusion. I confused myself

TeamEOS and its a cool feature, here are the commits to look over, would be a nice addition to AOKP.

Also they implemented a way to toggle between Stock UI and True tabletUI without changing DPI and it happens on the fly...also some pretty cool stuff that would be nice to see in AOKP for Grouper
