I gotta say, This rom is the best Gingerbread I ever flashed.

I originally was running v2.0 after the op took some time off and that one was rock solid like v2.1 is.

only bug for me was the GPS deep sleep death.

I found a fix (By Accident) for this issue. This works amazing on my phone with both v2.0 and v2.1 and would like to share. (YRMV)

On Ics this works well, On Phiremod Fusion 2.0/2.1 It is Amazing.

Attached are my screen shots in a spot at my work where i usually get terrible GPS and locks with 100 feet accuracy.

Also Attached is the Flashable .zip file

If you are running this rom still or want to try this rom,

I flashed Phiremod Fusion v2.1 straight on top of a fresh Odin of Eugene's JK2
(will work with Froyo roms like zendroid as well)

After the initial boot up,
I powered down the phone.
Using the 3 button method booted into recovery (Froyo Boot loader still)
then flashed GPS-Experia-Files.zip
rebooted.
turned on GPS.
Ran GPS test (Chartcross)
It took several minutes but then got 11 in view and locked onto 6 or 7.

I hope this helps with current users and future users of this well done Rom

Can I ask if you installed Eugene's streamlined kernel to get the GPS to work, or just the ROM and then the Experia Files?
Despite having some success with the GPS Fix Files I posted on XDA with ICS, I gave up as it was too unreliable and have been running Froyo (Fishman) for the last week, but it's a little dated looking so was interested in giving GB/CM7 a try.

Let me know!
Thanks!

Sorry for the barrage of questions!
This ROM doesn't seem to support FFC?
I use my FFC a lot so wondering if there's a specific FFC mod available for this ROM?
I have one from the Froyo days, and one from CM9, but not sure if either of these will work without causing problems?
Thanks.

I used the Kernel that the rom came with.
Flashed your Experia GPS files and got excelent results as i also did on ICZen.
I admit it takes a few minutes to see sats and lock but it will every time (for me) after Deep Sleep.

I'm Currently running
CyanogenMod-7-20120527-Nightly-vibrantmtd
build date May 27 10:46:39 PDT 2012
and have the same results.
Phiremod Fusion is also CM7 with Phiredrop mods to it.

I also mentioned this in the Zen forums and no one else was having my type of results.
Maybe MR.Psyco was correct, I have a Special phone or somthing. IDK.

This is a great rom and I've been using it since the latest release OC'd to 1.3 without any problems. It's very fast, gps locks on for me quickly as well after flashing the experia files. I wonder why more people don't use the gingerbread base. Keep up the good work, hope to see more releases in the future especially with a stable build of cyanogenmod out recently.

Was wifi-calling ever done for 2.3.7? I know it was done for 2.3.6.
