If you can go into your updater-script and find the line that mentions recovery delete that. Then zip up all the stuff and try again.

Cool, I'll go it a go. Just tried 3 different versions of CMW (touch and regular) to no avail.yeah dont use rom manager...i recommend TWRP...its a CWM based recovery if you didn't know and it blows the roof off of CWM touch...just try it

The updater-script in /META-INF/google/android.
Delete the lines that say:
package_extract_dir("recovery", "/system"); (Line 7)
set_perm(0, 0, 0544, "/system/etc/install-recovery.sh"); (Line 45)
They should be at or near those lines. Then you should be good
Hey guys...anyone come to this rom from Jellybelly? Trying to find the AOSP rom that works best for me...I know there is the 2 camera issue (that's a problem on all the aosp roms right now)...but how is gps, wifi, bluetooth, sound finder (google ears), etc...is this rom pretty solid? How about support?

The 2 camera issue will be fixed in the next build. I overlooked it. A few fixable bugs. GPS, wifi, bluetooth all work. I don't think sound finder does though
WOW! I'd say that was good support!
I was in the Jelly Belly irc and someone said the sound finder can be fix...somehow replacing the one in system/apps with the one from xda I believe? Don't quote me though...I was only half reading the directions since I am not on the full aosp jb yet (jelly belly 2.6 which is a hybrid)How about the wifi tether and google now? I know you have to download the language file but other than that is it working? Thanks again!

Google Now will be fully fixed in the next update so you wont need to download the language. Hopefully so will wifi tether. I'll try the Google Ears thing nowWOW! I'd say that was good support!

No luck for me either with twrp. I need to restore my phone to a stable state for now, but I'll mess around with it some more tonight.
