I realize I'll probably loose my MIUI-flashing privileges for saying this, but I kind of don't mind the Gingerblur theme....

its a nice change but it gets old real quick. if it had a black statusbar it think it would be more appealing.

Ok I am now running the updated version of MIUI, and I don't see the Superuser Icon in the applications? I can't run Titanium Backup or anything that requires root permision cause it is telling me that superuser is disabled. Can someone please tell me how do I enable it? Thanks.

its in the tools folder. you need to activate root permissions from withing the SU settings menu. directions should be in the OP

What is the airplane mode bug? It seems to work.

some users have there phone go into a complete no signal/data mode. Airplane mode will be toggled but cannot be undone without a hotboot.

Lol, I have been wondering why people don't just turn the phone face down, that's what I do and it works out great. I actually like the led charging light

i dont mind it either. my phone goes face down on a microfiber cloth on my night stand.

Man, I do give all you MIUI fans credit for tenacity, 56 pages of problems in 3 days for a 2nd init rom that eats batteries. Give SSM 602 V3 a try, everything works, very fast, great battery life and no trauma.

but the themes for that rom are so blah.

Hello, new to this rom .. I can not believe I waited this long to try this, its freaking awesome!! Can anyone please help me with this battery drain is there specific tricks/scripts/apps?? Also I have no clue how to manage my app icons ::face palm::: rom is smarter then me lol thanks for any help would be greatly appreciated!

90% after 5 hours = completly unused phone.
Tried a number of the 2nd init roms, and the only way you get any battery life is to shut the phone off between uses. I keep checking to see if this improves, as I would love the added customization, but not at the expense of having to carry multiple batteries or charge every day,

On SSM 602, I can go two full days with normal phone,email and productivity usage, and still have 20 -30% remaining, this is important for someone on the move.

LOL I get great battery life and this phone is used for business and pleasure. I take it off the charger at 7:30am and when it goes on the charger at 11pm it still has 20-30% battery. that is with many phone calls, endless email, twitter/facebook updates, couple games of fruit ninja, web browsing and more.

I tried SSM V2 and V3. Yes battery and speed is great but the themes are IMO not great and if you don't theme it the stock lock slider is awful. That and the lack of customization sent me back to MIUI and CM7.

do the android police come to your house and get you if you put out a rom?

no but not following certain guidelines can get you booted from the forums. MIUI has official developers that they allow to port the rom to other devices.

miui4dx is not an official miui port.
it's CM7 + miui.us translations.

it's not like anybody is trying to steal anything here. framework has been almost non-existent for the past several weeks. DXC is just stepping up.
i think it's F'n stupid that anyone would say he can't do that

Are you trying to stir up an argument. I think we just need to respect dxc for his decisions. But if you really need the release early. Maybe send a donation to dxc and see what happens.

I agree that it would be nice if dxc took over but only time can tell.

most developers will tell you guys they dont give ETAs, but I am shooting for release in the next half hour, as long as I dont hit any speed bumps. if I do hit a speed bump, ill come back here and tell you.

how different from your current .23 release will this be?
