Well my phone is bricked. I'd suggest everyone to stay away from this build until framework releases an update. If you're on this build sbf or restore as quickly as you can.

Hopefully this bug gets fixed soon. It would not bee good if the battery was able to drain completely because the battery level is not read correctly. Not being able to charge the phone either is not good.

Although, other than those issues this update is very nice. It seems to run very well, a major improvement. Framework mentioned that the bugs is due to him uploading an older build so I assume the bugs will be fixed when he uploads his most current build.

[Update] I just checked out the offical MIUI site under the droid x and saw a different checksum so something has changed. Unfortunately, it is only 24 mb in size; something must have happened to the upload or it is in the progress of being uploaded.
i was following that and saw the size increasing. now it looks stable at 102mb. I'll still wait for a word from framework

I just tried that update and it does not appear as though the battery bug is fixed. It does appear as though it recognizes USB connection now. Although, I am not sure if it is charging. Guess I am going to sbf back to 1.9.9 until things are fixed.

Battery does charge by the way, you can tell with programs such as phone tools from [email protected] (i love this app by the way), even though it constantly reads 4200mv, it does distinguish between unplugged and AC-charging. Meaning you can still charge your batt. Doesn't mean it its safe though, you could still have serious issues if you run out of battery.

Oh my god I love the default notification and ringtone.
I added that in :p

New update was put out, if someone can tell me if it fixed batt problems, that would be nice, my dx is borked and thinks all batteries are invalid (physical damage :p)

Thanks for the tip. I do not have my AC adapter either so, I do not think I am able to charge since USB does not seem to be working. I am going back to 1.9.9 so that I do not kill my battery.

So is the battery charging when the phone is off and plugged into an outlet?

Do we run the risk of overcharging, or does the chip on the battery still stop the charge when the battery is full?

As a precaution I just made a backup of this build and am going back to CM7 gb until we get a confirmed fix for the battery...
really don't want to take a chance on running down the battery to a point where I can't recover (no local friends w/a DX or convenient VZW store)

Hey Framework, something is wrong with the signing or download on this one :/ The install aborts every time. I will try re downloading though.

Edit: blah I F'ed it up. I'm using Gnome Shell now and wasn't paying attention to the copying to my sd card XD
