obviously, i'm a bit of a noob, but i've flashed 3 ROMs and this is by far the sickest, most stable and buttery ROM i've flashed. this is my first Android device and i keep asking myself, what took you so long?! any hiccup i've gone through on this ROM has been my own settings and i've just been reading and tweaking...the phone that is. what's funny, for me, is now that i'm on something stable i'm taking time to get my phone set and themed the way i want it. having a bit of issue with battery life (i'm on Franco kernel), but might have something to do with the fact that i keep it on so much at the moment.

thank you to the BAMF team and thanks to everyone else for posting your questions and answers so a noob can learn!

Edit, anyone try out Tinykernel with the new BAMF?

The particular release I'm using is from yesterday, 018 AK DIAMOND.

Is Tiny's the top-recommended kernel for this?

If only stock kernel had fast-charge and color profile options...

Hmm, yeah I saw those posts on xda haha. I haven't had any issues yet with AK Diamond 018 yet, but battery life could definitely be better.

I ran diamond 18 and I had horrible battery life, but because it was having a constant gps wakelock. I'm running diamond 19 now with the newest Slim build and it is working flawlessly. 1-2% battery drain per hour as it should on standby. It is the only rom i've ran that has the gps fixed.

once I let maps get a GPS lock, I started getting deep sleep the second I hit the power button.

Frankly GPS and location services suck on the GNex. Always have. I leave it off unless i really need it.
