Team Whiskey presnts Bionix Black Ice.
This ROM was 1st thought of by me for the Samsung Vibrant just after I released Bionix Frost.
I wanted to bring some flavor to the table, and with that, I have brought Black Ice.

VOODOO!<br />
Red CWM<br />
Cwm built into the kernel. No need for Update.zip<br />
Fixed Battery Meter<br />
Fixed Music Control on Glass Lock Screen<br />

NEW INSTRUCTIONS!
Place Zip on SD
Reboot into recovery
Do the mounting stuff (LAST TIME HAVING TO DO THIS CRAP!)
Flash the zip
This will convert you to RFS
Once flashing is done go back to the main CWM menu
Go to Advanced
Reboot Recovery
RED CWM!
Go to voodoo menu
make sure lagfix says enabled
make sure system lagfix says enabled
Go back to the main menu
reboot
Listen to sweet Linda talk to you and enjoy Voodoo Lagfix

OLD Instructions:
Make sure you have CWM Final installed.
ODIN to KD1 for best results. This will remove any Gremlins that might my waiting for a midnight snack.
Put the zip on your SD
Boot into CWM.
Go to mounts and storage.
mounts should look like this
Unmount cache
Mount data
Mount sdcard
Unmount system
Install zip from sd card
select the zip and flash.
Once done, reboot, and let it sit for 10 minutes
reboot once, and you are good to go.

EDIT:
for those saying that system is unavil, not sure why its doing that.
boot back into CWM, adb oush this file http://www.mediafire.com/?72m54q4brqv2tjp to your SD. Flash Black Ice, then before you reboot recovery, flash that file, then reboot the phone.
It should boot you into the system now.

Heard Linda say "Partitioning system" and have been at boot screen for about 10 minutes, is this a problem or do I just need to continue to be patient? I flashed from the previous version of Black Ice.

Never mind, after waiting 20 more minutes, I ODINed and re-flashed, worked fine after that.

Is anyone else not having any satellites lock in GPS? Maps bounces from 1400 meters off to 20 meters. Navigation no gps. I tried using GPS Essentials for seeing how many satellites locked. Nothing. Anyone else experiencing this? Other than that. Love the ROM.

you try that GPS fix on XDA? ive never gotten it to work though.

Just wanted to say thank you krylon for this ROM absolutely love it and btw I haven't had any problems going from test to stable1 to blackice voodoo really diggin the new site hope all goes well for you over [email protected] I to am having the same thing with GPS but i did notice if I have my wifi on it locks in to 20 meters immediately upon opening my maps app but have not had a chance to test out and about yet.

Besides the Voodoo lagfix, is there anything else different between the BlackIce_KD1 and the BlackIce_Voodoo ROMs? I'm asking because the prescribed instructions to install BlackIce_Voodoo did not work for me after numerous attempts (and I tried all the variations others posted at XDA).

Instead, I reflashed BlackIce_KD1, rebooted, then flashed Bali3.1UV, rebooted, let it sit, then enabled Voodoo lagfix and system lagfix in red CWM. It seems perfect now, ext4 and all, and I really don't want to touch it for a bit if I'm not missing out on any other updates in BlackIce_Voodoo. Thanks.

I think it's beyond badass.

Black Ice Voodoo paired with the Bali 3.1 on EXT4, tweaked out and the KF2 modem....I am in heaven right now. No issues. Stable. Love it.

Seriously, mad?!?! I might just have to go ahead and OC to 1.5 myself then. I'd been leary because I have alot of data usage and such as well as normal use and thought it would drain too fast.
