Gummy CHARGED

Rev your Charge up and get ready cause this things fast!!!

Notes:
Select Settings-->Display settings-->Unlock screen-->Glass unlock to get incoming calls to show up with the AOSP lockscreen slider rather than the puzzle crap

* If coming from another ROM You MUST wipe before installing this

* The first boot after install GummyCharged will take a while at both the Samsung logo and the bootsplash. Give it a couple of minutes

*** Choose your own Gummy Flavor --- see second Post to download GummyThemes

No need to wipe if you are coming from 1.8.1 or 1.8.5 this time

1.9.1 Is a minor update to resolve some theme inconstancy's and issues.. If you are on 1.9 there is no real need to upgrade but either-way if you do no wipe would be necessary

Thanks:
FABOLOUS for allowing me to use his Server to host Gummy Charged and letting me use his toolbox script to make mine!!!

Thanks to Teamdouche for publicly posting the CM source, which I compiled some of my apps from.
DroidXcon for his help and patience with me while walking me thought the while Odin thing

Credits:
IMNUTS - His initial ed2 Debloated ROM was where I started on GummyCharged 1.0 (although GummyCharged 1.5 has a completely new base)

Features:
- Most all apps were built from source.... rather that decompiled and hacked apps via APKmanager!!!!! To do this I took the CM and Android source trees from Froyo and reworked the framework to allow apps to properly find resources after they were compiled.
- New Base built on top of EE4
- The only apps left from TW are Dialer, Contacts and Camera
- AppWidgetPicker - built byboombuler
- Latest Market included
- Black Gtalk - themed by me
- Ads blocked via hosts file -thanks to delta_foxtrot2
- 1% battery increments built in (Icons made by me)
- Themed Dialer, Contacts, Keyboard Task Manager by me to integrate into the stock GB look and feel
- All apps optimized and zip aligned

More to come...

Known Issues:

Disclaimer:
I take no responsibility for what this ROM may do to your phone.

This rom is SWEET!!

Just one thing. Could you clarify (for myself and others) installation instructions for the video fix and the blacktalk zip? Thanks!
to install either just install within CWR, just like you did when you installed the ROM (but without a wipe)

Myself and another user are seeing a reoccuring android.process.acore force close. Anyone else experiencing this?

What exactly are you doing when it happens? To be honest I have found that this will happen if you do not Wipe Data before installing GummyCharged (when coming from another ROM)

For me it seemed pretty random. Once I was streaming video.

For the other guy, it happened when he first booted up after flashing the video fix and the blackgtalk zips. Now whenever he boots, email app force closes.

We both wiped data before flashing, and he wiped caches just now and still got the email force close.

edit: It seems that he may have restored system data through Titanium Backup in addition to user apps/data. I suppose that could be the culprit causing the force closes. Doesn't explain the acore closes though... Hopefully 1.5 will fix

Just a few questions on the 1.5 build. I'm on ed2 and running GummyCharged 1.0. Do I need to wipe before updating to 1.5? Also, will the ee4 update you have coming require a wipe? And should I update now or wait for the ee4 first? Thanks in advance and keep up the great work!

Are you one of the beta testers? Because we had that problem then... It should not be happening now, if it is please try a wipe and re-install and see if it is still happening.

Here is the quick and dirty instructions on how to get to EE4 for you.. I will not have an install that does it all I do have one that will skip on step thats it.. If you want to get to EE4 and know what you are doing try this... BTW I take no responsibly for what this may do you your phone.....

1. Install ED1 Root Odin found here on XDA (make sure you deactivate voodoo if you have it activated)
2. Boot and let it OTA you to ED2 (stock)
3. download the EE4 update found on this site and put it on the root of your SD card.. Rename that file to update.zip
4. boot into stock recovery and select install update.zip.
5. let it do its thing
6. after booting and verifying that everything is working on EE4, install CWR from this thread via Odin
7. Install a root Kernel via Odin or CWR for either voodoo or non voodoo depending on whether you want or know how to activate it.
8. install Wipe data
9. Install GummyCharged
