CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Hey codeworkx nice to see you here

I have used it a few hours and I noticed that I can make phonecalls.
When I make phonecalls the screen turns black (I can't do anything till the otherone hangs up)
This will probably be the RIL sleep issue you where talking about.
I wanted to share my logcat with you maybe you can find something useful in it.

I came from CM7 wiped my data and ran clean CM9 when I made this logcat (Build 12292011-3)
The link on pastebin >> http://pastebin.com/pFusETDW

At the end of it I make the phonecall

Are you using Build 12302011?

After the device went to deep sleep once, the proximity sensor should start to work and the problem should be solved.
Otherwise try using the home button to wake it up.

Hi codeworks, yeah i'm following the topic on xda and on the official site.
Just want you to know that i'm updating every nightly and so far so good, only gps takes long, no video recording, sms and whatsapp notifications doesn't vibrate, if you could add the file manager that the samsung 2.3.6 version have wuld be good, and also the usb does not work.
Oh the battery live decreased from the 03-04-12 build .
Awesome work!
If you need something i can help.
I'll be porting some bugs that i find. Thanks.
