all you developers here and at xda need to pull together to make this port happen. too many people are working separately on this and it will turn out to be a mess. i think the goal is too have a functioning rom to tide us over until cm9.

Yep. It's a one line edit in the framework overlay. Just added it because it's easier to use vs. inputting all keys with adb.

that's cool, i see no reason for them when most phones will have the capacitive buttons anyways. i think it was made for the nexus alone.

Could be. 13-14 hour days working on this for two weeks and a pissed off fiance can really fry a brain. My point was that there was and is no reason to state that you're going to wait. Go ahead. For the camera to work and such do we need proper drivers from htc or will the devs be able to do this? Just curious.

just food for thought here. has any of the devs got with the cm team to see if they could share whatever we need to get full hardware acceleration and the camera to work? i mean in about a month we are going to start getting cm9 nightlies, as i said just wondering if this might be possible? in some ways i wish verizon had the nexus s, i know they have a full working port but aero & protekk have done a great job from what ive seen.

It still has some (okay, lots of) redraw issues. Dragging down the notification bar seems to help force a redraw. Bluetooth seems to work (it turns on, but I still haven't connected to anything). Sdcard doesn't seem to want to mount automatically any more :/ not sure what changed there... There's lots of stuff going on in the cm9 codebase and we probably didn't update something in our device tree to reflect the recent changes.

I would recommend formatting /system before flashing since I've had some issues if I didn't do that.

Also, there are still lots of bugs, mostly related to eglSwapBuffers. Since Maps tries to call eglSwapBuffers, it crashes and there are lots of other issues associated with that.

alright ill bite on this, im going to have to try this out finally. i do have a question, are you guys going to continue working on this after cm9 comes or is this to tide us over?

just flashed with the gapps and my live wallpaper works but man no offense this is painfully slow. takes forever to open any apps. good too see ice cream but im going to wait for a stable build, good work though devs. is there a kernel im suppose to flash? i don't see how you guys are using this as a daily rom unless i did something wrong?

So its recommended to run beta 1? That might of been my issue last night as i tried the new aero build.
