I was able to get the 2nd one to boot as well. Wiped data and cache. Same outcome. Overlapping UI elements, enabling wifi caused bootloop. Probably something thats already been fixed by the devs. I wouldnt know the first place to start.
I think you may still need to flash my v2 ics kernel to get wifi working. I don't think it got packaged in correctly, but I'm not sure.
I did, flashed it after doing the ROM. even with the kernel it bootlooped

Sent from my Incredible 2 HD
I had Alpha 3 and Aeroevans kernal flashed with the SystemUi from Touchpro (the larger of the two). It worked, but as stated, I had the overlaps on the screens and the lack of pulldown, but I didn't have any issues with bootlloops even when enabling wifi. It's still cool to be able to play around with Ics. Thanks again to all the devs that are putting work into this!!
Yeah its pretty cool im posting this right now from the aplha 3 i added the systemui into the rom and took the old one out no bootloops but i also dont have notification pull down or sd card access wifi works
inching closer and closer, when it comes to beta I'll be all over...as I'm no use to assist really. Cannot wait to show someone my little single core inc2 with ICS on it!!! Inc2 is a bad tushy phone...do not care what anyone says.

now on to the actual rom, is there still 2 official builds going on? one on xda and this one?
Touchpro's release is awesome. The only thing that kept me from using it as a daily driver was the SD card :-( but I'm sure that will be fixed soon!
Yep that release with aeroevans kernel is by far the best. Agreed the sd card functionality is a must for prolonged use. I'm gonna hack away at it and see what happens.
Update: It turns out this doesn't fix an apps ability to see the external storage. The gallery app still bombs on me, but file managers like Astro can see the sdcard now.

I was able to fix the SD card after installing if anyone is interested. Fairly easy. I'm still working on making it persistent though, so this will go away after you reboot.

1. Connect to your phone using adb shell
2. run the following commands (i'm not sure if the device numbers/names are different on each phone or not,so you may have to play around with it).
mount -o remount,rw /
mkdir /mnt/sdcard
ln -s /mnt/sdcard /sdcard

3. Then to make the sdcard mount run vold

Again, this is not persistent. I'm thinking that /mnt/sdcard will need to be added to the build before it will work since root is read-only.

Let me know if it works for you.

I thought I saw mention of you guys having the source up on github, but the only thing I found so far was the boot.img file. Is the source out there somewhere that you guys are working from? I really want to get into Android development, and would like to poke around and watch as you guys commit stuff so that I can learn....maybe even start contributing if I can get my head around it.

Update: I know how to pull down the AOSP, but I don't really know where to start to get devices not supported to work. That's why I was hoping to see what all you guys have done to the AOSP.

Is anybody having calendar sync issues with gmail or the email app? Neither will work for me. I'm also having problems gaining root access. Is that related to the SD card not working?

Calender and Gmail sync working great for me. Not sure on the root access. I do believe it's tied to the Sd card though.

Maybe it had to do with the 3 apk's i had to delete from GAPPS to get rid of the FC's. Did you delete any?

I deleted the three that were posted to delete. Which version of the rom are you running? I'm using the superom version posted over on Xda at the moment along with Touchpro's patch.

I am on 2.4 superom but i didnt see any patches on xda... do you mind pointing me to the right direction?

EDIT: you mean the softkeay patch right? I just saw that!

Root access can be attained by download the latest version of SU. I would do it on your pc and ADB install the su apk to your phone. Once that is done you can use it to download the newest Busybox release as well. Root should work at that point.

Does this mean what I think it does?

Edit: haha you get the point. yay for word filters.
