Gocal, try deleting the lost.dir folder from your internal and external sd cards, reboot and let media rescan, then see if that has any effect. Also, try deleting the cache from the Gallery apk as well. If those don't solve it, reflash or just try a factory reset in recovery and then restore your apps. Let us know your results.

@ eddy - No stress brother, I shouldn't have relied in the "cloud" to maintain my files anyways. Being the biz I am in, I should know better, but B dropped the ball on that one.

YOU ROCK! Deleting lost.dir and clearing the cache of Gallery worked (after I rebooted, of course). Thanks so much! What is the lost.dir folder anyway?

Fan-freakin-tastic dude! That Lost.dir folder was one of the ones that was useful to delete back when we first had ICS rollin, the old lost files caused a lot of problems, and I got into the habit of deleting that folder on every flash, and once in a while when I mount to pc. I'm not exactly sure what all it contains, I just know that clearing it out can help with media scanning issues.

EDIT - Here is a good explanation of what the Lost.dir is for, seems legit, I buy it.

I've been getting random restarts during phone calls for the last month, which is odd since I had 0 problems for the 2 months previous. Anyone else encountered this? I don't OC, I use stock kernel, haven't tweaked with anything really, just apps in the app market. Not sure what's going on =/

I've been using ICZen since it was released, and this is my all time favorite rom. I just love it. Thanks a lot for all the hard work in this amazing piece of rom, and I was just wondering if you working on a JBzen, or something lol? I'd LOVE to use your JB rom. Please please please work on one if you have time/etc. Would definitely love to use your rom. Once again thanks!

I'm getting pretty inconsistent (read: slow) data speeds on 3G w/ T-Mobile even after getting a new SIM card from the store. I'm getting 4 bars of service in downtown San Francisco, too. Does the ROM/modem/kernel affect data speeds? I'm on the 2GB plan and I've confirmed that I'm not being throttled.

Try flashing a different modem. Results seem to vary depending on location. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1399722

thanks. I went back to KA6 and speeds seem to be better.

in other news, I ordered an SGSIII and will be receiving it in the mail (UPS, really) tonight, so no more laggy phone! thanks to all you devs for the great work you did in making a crappy phone usable. hope to see you guys continue to support the newer devices.

Hey now! I know my question is not related to this ROM, but I also know that someone here may be able to help! I woke up today, and my phone's time did not adjust for DST. The settings are to automatically use network-provided time as well as network-provided time zone. Now, I know that I can uncheck these boxes and set the time manually, but I'm trying to figure out why this is not happening automatically. Thanks!

EDIT: Nevermind! Apparently these "high-tech" desk clocks in my hotel somehow changed automatically, so I was all types of confused!

Normally.. it should change (on the phone). But if it doesn't, what I do is reset my Vibes, or do a wipe Cache and after it reboots, it does the automagical adjustment on the phone. But I haven't had any force to reset events since last year's DST after i did it once. I don't know. It has to be the network. It couldn't be the Vibrant or any phone, supposedly.

Yeah buddy, I miss me some MP. I know he got busy with life, and he had to step away for a bit. I almost emailed him the other day just to say hi and see how our brother is doing. Yeah I'll reach out to him here soon.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach that same man to use Google Search, and he can answer his own questions for the rest of his life.
