We are pleased to announce the first release of Virtuous Primo, this is based on the leaked 1.56.401.11 release RUU. We would like to give special thanks to Football for the RUU.

This build currently falls as an X-Series release, how ever it is suitable for use as a daily driver if you can live with a few bugs. We hope to have ROM feature complete as soon possible. Check bellow for a full list of what is working and what is not.

Primo is the result of a collaborative, team effort by the following developers:

Features

Based on the Primo ROM (1.56.401.11).
Fully Deodexed
Ported for almost full functionality on all of supported devices
Heavily optimized for fluid performance and usability.
Overclocked kernels with numerous additional kernel modules.
Built-in screen state frequency scaling (1.1Ghz-307MHz/ondemand screen-on, 768Mhz-307Mhz/conservative screen-off), via custom built virtuous_oc C daemon.
Market-sourced applications (Gmail, Maps, Voice, etc) automatically installed on first boot into /data/app for easy removal.
Bloatware and unnecessary applications removed.

Supported Devices

Important Notes

You must complete a full wipe prior to installing this ROM the first time. We also recommend wiping between upgrades, but you are welcome to try upgrading without a wipe. However, no support will be provided if you file a bug without having wiped prior to submission.

To ease the process of reporting bugs to the team, we made a public bugtracker where you can report any bugs you found. Please make sure you read all the existing entries there to avoid doubling the errors.

Is anybody else here? I can't be the only person who flashed this. Anyway, I love this rom and am using it as a daily driver. I can wait on a camera...we have 30 other devices with cameras on them that I can use for now.

I've been running it since yesterday and it is the most feature complete and stable of the ICS/Sense 4 ROMS I've tested. Audio is great, GPS works although it did seem to take a long time to get a lock on my test drive this afternoon. I haven't really found aything yet that doesn't work but I haven't tested everything. (March Madness distraction)

I'll check out the bluetooth today and post back. Fantastic job. Can't wait for the next release.

Just flashed this. Wanted to make sure you guys knew that Inspire folk still love and appreciate your ROMs! So far I have not had any issues, but I also haven't made any calls yet. I will be sure to post if I run into any issues.

UPDATE: Audio seems fine. No issues aside from what is already noted. Can't wait for next release.

Checked install on my Inspire. Please note that I haven't had much time to dig into it and these are just initial notes:

Bluetooth is working well. However, I'm not sending or receiving audio on either side during calls. This may be a common problem (I haven't had the time to research this). Music via stock player, PowerAmp and BeyondPod all comes over clearly on the same headset.

In-call audio over the speaker or on the phone work as expected. I haven't had the opportunity to test quality as of yet.

GPS locks were within the expected range with no abnormalities noted.

Other Notes:

Great job on this ROM. It appears to be at least as stable as the (generally stable) IceColdSandwich install that proceeded it. If I can get the bluetooth in-call audio addressed I'll make it my prime driver.

The bluetooth headset used in my tests is a LG HBS700. I have a Plantronics Voyager 510 and 520 I will test and report on as time allows.

EDIT: If anyone has a battery of tests they'd like me to run or things to check, let me know. I'll be happy to oblige.

Only think I notice wrong on my is one ny camera don't work which I know right now with ICS roms seems to be a problem and I am getting s lot of problems with the Google Play.

Great work so far, the only issue I seemed to have was with saved wifi networks. It occasionally would disconnect and then on trying to reconnect it would simply hang at saying saved network and when I would press the network to connect it wouldn't even try to connect.This would go on for some time even after toggling wifi and airplane mode. In most cases it would eventually reconnect on its own but it seemed like it could be an issue for some.

Flashed on inspire. Have sound( ef'n rocks my car) no issues with anything except the obvious. Third day running without single force close. The best ics Rom hands down.

Had this happen to me earlier, but it went a bit further. Seems like after the device has been on for a while (8+ hours? not sure yet), the Wi-Fi decides it doesn't want to connect to saved networks anymore. It seems like it kept trying to connect though, as during that period the phone got pretty warm and the battery started draining pretty quick. I had to reboot it to get everything back to normal.

If I can get it to happen again and I am in a place to gather logs and whatnot, I will try.

Working great with no issues except the obvious... Just that it would have been greater if it had Dolby and SRS sound effects along with Beats... Other then that love it...

Can't wait for this ROM to become feature complete....Virtuous ROMs are all I ever run. This release is a pretty solid start IMO. Asside from the bugs mentioned in the OP it's nearly suited as a daily.

Virtuous Primadonna v1.21.0 Alpha 3

Nothing to exciting in this update we're afraid, its more of a maintenance release to bring the Inc 2 in line with all other devices, along with a few key bugfixes for other devices.

Really want to run this ROM (or a Virtuous AOSP version) but need the camera, so I keep going back to Affinity. Is there a 3rd party camera program that'll work, or is it a hardware/driver issue? Is there any status on Quattro at all - is that DOA?
