How to Install Raging Bionic:

YOU MUST BE ON STOCK 98.72.22 JB KERNEL

  • Boot into Safestrap v3.11
  • Select any Slot
  • Wipe Data / Factory Reset
  • Wipe cache and dalvik cache
  • Wipe System
  • Install ragingbionic.zip
  • Reboot System
  • Initial boot takes about 5 minutes...Dont Panic
  • Reboot
  • Profit

Enabling Overclock:

The OC script is in /system/etc/init.d The scripts are are commented out to prevent initial boot issues. I've had Bionics that crash at 1250mhz, while others fly at 1350+. Use tweakerz to "test the waters" then go to the OC script, uncomment the scripts (delete the # in front of the script), and modify the scripts to suit your desired speed and voltages. For those of you on a 4 slot, leave the last line commented out.

Reboot.

Profit.

Remember, once you uncomment the scripts, OC will stick. If you push it too far you will find yourself editing with adb through recovery or reflashing your bootlooping soft brick. Have fun guys and gals

If you're not comfortable working with the scripts, you can always just apply settings in tweakerz. This, however, will not survive a reboot.

I, Team Rage, Droidrzr.com, nor anyone else will be responsible for what you do to your phone! If you do this right it should work well. If not...well...that's what we're here for. Remember, we all do this for fun and have real lives too. If you find any bugs, please be sure you followed the INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS exactly before reporting.
This ROM is designed for SAFESTRAP 3.11 ONLY. Flash other methods at your own risk!!

I flashed this awesome ROM today and the only thing I can't figure out is why the android keyboard force closes every second. Which of course means I can't sign into any accounts to get my SwiftKey keyboard back on. I put it in slot 4 and did all 4 wipes. Did I miss anything?

And...if I wasn't supposed to ask here, just let me know and I'll gladly delete it. Thanks in advance

Deleted and reflashed and it works GREAT!!!! Thanks for the awesome ROM. I've tried Liquidsmooth, Carbon, AOKP, and now this. And this is by far the best

Hi, guys! I live in Ukraine and use Bionic with Ukrainian cdma. I can't start Ev-do. On the stock i've edit data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db. Changed item preferred_cdma_subscription to 1. On this rom i changed to, but after reboot it's back to 0. Сan you fix it?
Sorry for bad english.
