So I got locked out of Vicious Toro V1 after trying to change the carried drop down with Root Tools... attempted to wipe/factory reset in CWM, but it froze so I pulled the battery. Tried wiping again and it said everything worked, so I installed this ROM instead this time around.

Booted this ROM and was ready to setup my stuff again, but then I realized all my data is still there from Vicious Toro V1. I can see that the carrier name is fixed, so I think this ROM installed over Vicious Toro V1 or maybe nothing installed at all...

Not sure what is going on, but hoping maybe someone could shed some light on this issue. Saw in another thread that someone tried wiping and when they installed a new ROM the old wallpaper was still there from the previous ROM.

Anyone know what is going on?

it froze while attempting to wipe data? thats strange. dont think i've heard of that one. i would just boot back into cwr and wipe again.

I have just installed this ROM and was great until I turned off my phone and attempted to restart it, however, when I attempted to my phone continued to get stuck at the Google logo on boot up. I have tried everything. I have done factory reset and cleared cache in recovery and pulled the battery so many times but nothing works. HELP please

just let it sit on the Google screen. it will boot up after a few minutes. sometimes takes 10 minutes i've heard.

this boot problem randomly happens on all jelly bean roms for the verizon gnex. people are workin on it.

For me, I have no sound at all on this JB rom. Idk how to fix it...

older and other peoples versions of jelly bean have no ringtone or notification sound set. just go to settings - sound and set one.

The GPS lock is quick but I am off by 20 meters approximately

double check your Location settings and make sure all 3 boxes are checked. And sometimes, the initial gps satellite lock on takes a minute

I installed this Rom yesterday morning as well as the WiFi fix and everything seems to be working fine except in my signal display I sometimes get an R as if I was roaming instead of the normal 4G. It only seems to give me an R when I'm on 4G because when I check under About Phone it says my Mobile Network type is LTE 13. Before installing this Rom I never had that show up and the weird thing is that I have roaming disabled and it even says that my Roaming status is Not Roaming. Even the Network says Verizon Wireless so I know I'm not roaming but I'm more concerned at the fact that it has the R up there. I'm also concerned that Verizon may think I'm roaming and start charging me if most of my usage is supposedly roaming. Anybody have any idea on this? I also flashed the 4.0.4 official radios from the GNex radio thread. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

Pretty sure that's just because the ROM you installed has the wrong eri. That is the file responsible for letting you know if your roaming and it also displays "Verizon Wireless" on the lock screen and notification drop down. If you install the proper eri.xml file, your issue should go back to normal.

yep...my gps workin perfect now too. sweet. i was making all kinds of changes to the gps config files tryin to fix it thinking it was something i borked. lmao

I had the same problem yesterday. You just have to put an eri file in your /data folder. Follow the link, it's post #13. Just download it and follow his instructions in that post. It was driving me nuts yesterday, but that should work.

Was it stuck on the Google boot logo or the nexus X boot animation?

i havent heard of that happening with jelly bean. sounds like you just forgot to wipe data or something like that. just boot into recovery and wipe data.

thats definitely not right. maybe something you installed causing it. you can try to figure out whats causing it or just wipe and start over

in case anyone's noticed, the mms apk is not configured properly for verizon. it is causing picture to be overly compressed and look like crap. Also, videos received via mms will not play. This is the case with all jelly bean roms on vzw gnex, since it was ported from a gsm rom. I have it fixed and will add it in the next update.

Is there anyway to fix the call bug that a few people (myself included) seem to get from time to time? I was using JB, but then had to switch to CM9 because of the bug and it was a sad sad move.

i have not experienced this bug and been using this rom since it came out a few days ago. maybe it's caused by another app you're using? is it happening on all the JB roms? it would help if you could give me a logcat of when it happens. that way i could see whats going wrong

I finally found the source of the problem with the touch screen being non-responsive.. its Lux dashboard sadly. Hopefully the Dev. Updates soon. Hope this helps others as it was driving me mad!

never. this rom is for people that want stock. use the other custom roms if you want those things.

For picture messages, all I get is a 'downloading' message. Never get it tho. Can you post an updated messaging apk or is the fix beyond just the app?
