I've noticed that I've been getting stuck on a lot of web pages in the stock browser, meaning if I try to use the browser back button or the system exit or whatever the button left arrow is called, it simply refreshes the page. I know there are some pages in desktop browsers that do this but for the stock browser on the TP it seems like it affects a lot of pages. Is this an ICS problem or something that could be remedied?

Here are some notes I made from someone else post (sorry cant remember who)
edit Build.prop
ro.product.brand=samsung
ro.product.model=GT-I9100
ro.product.manufacture=HP
debug.composition.type=gpu

EA games (Hot Pursuit, Madden 12, etc) that require additional download does not work with CM9. There were numerous posts in the internet discussing the reason, but it is believed that EA has not updated their games to be compatible with ICS. Some claims in this forum to have ea games worked, but I think they were working in CM7, which is gingerbread.

It took some doing (but isn't that why we love the touchpad?) but I got Dead Space, another EA game on sale, to run perfectly well in CM9. Here's what I did:

Purchased the game on my touchpad and installed (error when attempting to download)
Downloaded and installed the game to my Android handset.
Copied the downloaded content on my phone from /sdcard/Android/data/com.ea.deadspace_na and copied the entire com.ea folder to my PC
Connected my TouchPad to the PC and copied the folder back to the same location
Game ran, bypassing the download part, but there were no graphics to speak of. Looked really bad.
Downloaded Chainfire3D and downloaded graphics drivers from here: http://forum.mobilis...ic.php?p=783548
Unrar'd the files and copied the Zip files to /sdcard/ on the touchpad
Went into Chainfire settings, drivers, and had it search for, then install the drivers.
In the main settings, I enabled the nVidia driver

To my delight, the game ran great after that. Really fluid and excellent graphics/gameplay. Really happy with my $0.50 cent game. :)

Addendum: I also purchased Shadowgun, which also ran great without the above, if one did not want to go the trouble.
I also got dead space to work via side loading the data from a friend after buying the .apk from the play sale. However, while the framerate seems fine there is graphical hitching, especially when moving regularly. Compared to my phone (iPhone 4s) which runs 100% smooth, the hitching /stuttering is terrible. Do you experience this at all or have a means for comparison (I.e. a phone)? (I'm using 4/4 official, 1.5ghz oc, and have used data from both an adreno device (not requiring chainfire plugin) and powervr with the same performance issue.)

I did pretty much the same, maybe in a different order but although I find screen scroll to be very fluid with the launcher, I find screen scroll in browser to be more sluggish than with Alpha2. anyone else has that issue (read minor annoyance)?
I noticed this, too. There seems to be a bit more hitching in all of the browsers when scrolling compared to alpha 2 and especially 3/29.

A couple of questions:

1. Is there any way to lower the brightness of the screen beyond what the lowest slider setting is in the settings menu? (TP can get dimmer in webos)

2. Is the issue of scrollable features jittering around your finger when you hold it on the screen possible to remedy with touch driver improvements or is that going to be the status quo from here on out?

It appears my issue with the stock browser back button loading the page again rather than going back was due to using AdAway. Just a heads up if anyone is using it and having similar problems using the system back or browser back buttons in the stock browser.
OK so it seems that any ad blocker causes this problem with the stock browser, not just adaway. Has anyone else noticed this or know why it would be doing this?

So when I am in my standard browser, with my ad blocker on through ROM Toolbox Pro my back button works. When I touch it I go to my previous page. The page doesn't reload it goes backwards. What I understand the problem to be is when someone is running an ad blocker when using the browser back arrow causes a reload instead of going back to the previous page. If this is correct, it is not happening with my system. My host is 127.0.0.1

If I am wrong or misunderstand I apologize.
You're correct. I've tried four popular ad blockers now with the same result of refreshing, magically fixed by disabling the blocker. I should note that I'm using the non premium version if ROM toolbox.

I seem to be getting slightly diminished battery life on 4/12 coming from 4/04. I'll monitor my usage a bit to see what the deal is.

Also just a general observation;

Since the first official nightly has anyone noticed that scrolling in general in web browsers and some apps to be a bit stuttery?I've had a 250 pt drop in the antutu benchmark for what it's worth as well.

Not sure if this is normal CM9 behaviour, but I started playing around with CM9 around alpha 2. Anyways I've always found that the haptic feedback works fine when first booting into CM9, but anytime the tablet sleeps I lose the haptic feedback. The issue still persists in the latest nightly (4/12) and I was just wondering if this is typical.
It's a known issue.

What is the LTE stuff about in the changelog where it mentions what will be included in the next build? Are the 4G models LTE? I thought there were HSPA+. Or maybe for USB LTE modems?

Did I miss something? Sorry if I'm stupid...
The changelog is not Tenderloin specific, so you're seeing changes that will be merged for cm9 in general.
