That is the easiest way to install the update.
Or you can install the radio first and then this update.
Either way will work just fine.

Anyone notice that where you previously had 4G it now drops to 3G (nice icon) and refuses to hop back on 4G until a reboot occurs? Even if you put it in airplane mode it will not negotiate back up to 4G?

I found just the opposite. The MR2 radio handles network hand off much more efficiently and seamlessly then the base or MR1 radio ever did.
