looks like your using superuser from cyanogen. Superuser/binary is out dated!
Nope. Using the ones straight from Google with root.

What are the proprieties for anyway?
Not properties... [background=rgb(245, 245, 245)]Proprietary... as in closed-source binaries for firmware, libraries, etc....[/background]

Google Network Location Services & Tethering Restrictions Removal Fix...
What this does:
1. Enable Google Network Location Services (cell & wifi based location) for Google apps like Google Now, Google Shopper, Browser, etc.
2. Removes the Verizon tethering restriction (tether for free!!!)

Download

This should work on all pure AOSP 4.2 ROMs... if your ROM dev has included extra features which modified framework-res.apk, you might lose them... so ask your ROM dev to incorporate this fix as described below...

Fix details:
Edit /device/samsung/toro/overlay/frameworks/base/core/res/res/values/config.xml

1. To remove the tethering restriction, delete these lines
Code:
<string-array translatable="false" name="config_mobile_hotspot_provision_app">

"com.samsung.spg"

"com.samsung.spg.NewSPGActivity"

</string-array>
2. To enabled Google Network Location Services add these lines
Code:
<string-array name="config_locationProviderPackageNames" translatable="false">

com.android.location.fused

com.google.android.location

</string-array>
3. Additional typo in file from AOSP... remove the extra quote
Change this
Code:

"mobile,0,0,1,-1,"true"

To this
Code:

"mobile,0,0,1,-1,true"

I'll add this to my Bugless Beast build later today. I'll give credit.
