Does wireless tether work on this? If it works does it get reported to VZW?

It doesn't get reported in that sense. But, vzw can see all data that passes through their network that your phone is apart of, whether you tether or not. From what I understand they just kind of look the other way for the time being as long as your not sucking down hella gigs. That said, I know people that use it and use many many gigs, so who knows.

I just use it once in a while. I don't suck up much data with it. Can't wait to try RootzBoat!
