This is the beginning of the return for RoootzBoaaaat.

Built from source, fresh from AOSP--Android 4.1.1

We are changing our focus a bit to speed and stability rather than 1000 features. Hopefully you guys will like it.

Build 2 - Beta - 07-12
Camera/Camcorder fixed - no need to dirty install from previous JB ports
WifiTether Fixed
Voice Search Fixed - no longer have to download offline pack to make it work
SuperSU added to build
Insecure boot - adb remount, etc working now
Root Explorer was updated on the app side, no more issues there

New GApps with the help of Kejar31 adds:
--App restore fixed
--New Music
--New YouTube
--New Gmail
--other random bits

Build 1 - Beta build
Built from AOSP source
su installed, download SuperSU or Superuser apks whichever you prefer.
Install busybox from market "Busybox installer or other"
Google Now/Voice Search works with included Gapps.
RootzBoat wallpapers included
Toro volume fixes applied
Correct ERI included
Various VZW bits included..

This is obviously the second build of this ROM. Fixes and adds will be coming super quick, but wanted to get this out there to give you crackflashers something to do today.

DISCLAIMER: As usual, I am not responsible for what happens to your phone or your life as a result of flashing this. By rooting your device you have already voided your warranty. Proceed with caution.

On v4... I notice that when I plug my phone into my computer it no longer recognizes my device. I also flashed imoseyon's leankernel. Anyone else with this issue?
Where did you get V4? I'm still on V3 and looking forward to the update...

Yes, it still says 3 but it's really 4.
OK. Waiting on my new hard drive from poitee. Poitee is the man for hooking me up with one for free so I can continue development. As soon as I get that installed and my computer up and running again we will set sail once again.

Sorry for the lack of updates and/or lack of quick dash...I can't control my computer taking a dump on me..

It's smooth and stable, I'm in no rush for new stuff. Keep up the good work!

Samesies.

Except for one minor gripe and I want to know if others are even experiencing -- with the 4x1 Google Music widget. Unless I have the Music app up and running in the background, the play button doesn't work. In ICS pressing play on the widget would fire up whatever song you last had going along with the app. Anyone?
Does anyone know if power notifications will make it to the jellybean roms? Also...soft key customization??

Pretty sure AOKP has all that going on, but I could be wrong.

I said jb roms not specifically this one
AOKP has the any seat softkey in their jb rom. Paradigm and AOKP both have powerwidget notification.
There is also a app on the market the does power control widgets in both notification window or desktop widget.
Search play market for Power Controls

If anyone is interested, I made a few rootzboat inspired boot logos for my phone. If anyone is using the logo me app and would like to download them. They're in this thread as well as on my flickr page in my sig. :)

Personally I can't decide which one I want to use. :x

The wait is killing me. Actually debated trying out FNV but I'll wait a little longer and see what happens.

FNV is definitely worth checking out. The 008 rc's are looking good and they are working on non-kanged toggles too.

Well I've started flashing multiple roms again. lol. I might come back eventually once I see some updates. I think I'm giving aokp a try next since xoomdev has put a lot of his time into it. Hopping off the boat. #blameXoomdev
