This is the beginning of the return for RoootzBoaaaat.

Built from source, fresh from AOSP--Android 4.1.1

We are changing our focus a bit to speed and stability rather than 1000 features. Hopefully you guys will like it.

Build 2 - Beta - 07-12
Camera/Camcorder fixed - no need to dirty install from previous JB ports
WifiTether Fixed
Voice Search Fixed - no longer have to download offline pack to make it work
SuperSU added to build
Insecure boot - adb remount, etc working now
Root Explorer was updated on the app side, no more issues there

New GApps with the help of Kejar31 adds:
--App restore fixed
--New Music
--New YouTube
--New Gmail
--other random bits

Build 1 - Beta build
Built from AOSP source
su installed, download SuperSU or Superuser apks whichever you prefer.
Install busybox from market "Busybox installer or other"
Google Now/Voice Search works with included Gapps.
RootzBoat wallpapers included
Toro volume fixes applied
Correct ERI included
Various VZW bits included..

This is obviously the second build of this ROM. Fixes and adds will be coming super quick, but wanted to get this out there to give you crackflashers something to do today.

Lol looks like y'all are having fun. I'll be putting together any issues you guys find and work out solutions tonight when I get home. Had to work.

Just remember I spend like two hours on this at like 2 am. Some of the stuff will be real easy fixes just ran out of time this morning.

Wanted to let you guys have a build to play with today tho so don't be too angry at me. But hope y'all are enjoying it. Let the fixing begin!

you guys can change the ro.build.description ro.build.fingerprint in the build.prop to match the 4.0.4 ota from vzw and that will help with some play store issues such as missing apps etc. I'm sure xoom will do that tonight as he stated he was up late and its just a build to play with but just figured id throw that out there to see if that helps anyone.

I'm guessing you are going to look into why us that dirty flashed over the hacked JB build aren't having camera issues
if there is anything you need me to look for or check to see why this is (maybe a for left behind that you need?

) I'm more than willing to help,
no issues for me to really say for sure (none that weren't easily fixed that is lol)
great work for only a couple hours!!
(i tried for about eight hours and couldn't even get the build to come out as 4.1.1, got it now but haven't tried flashing or modding it yet cuz you dropped this lol)

Edit: Also why is the Calendar Sync still v 4.0.3? I checked the original GSM nandriod files and there is no CalSyncAdapter anymore? Maybe its not needed, I removed it from the rom and am wiping caches then going to try and use my gmail cal and see if it syncs. Nope with it removed there is no sync option check under accounts. Weird, wonder why it was not in the developer preview?

Basically from this it seems that AOSP does not include Google calendar sync by default and also no longer includes sync adapter, so you need the Google supplied cal app to sync, but thats it no need for a sync adapter in ICS + as its built into the same apk.

I have modified the gapps with Google supplied cal from 4.1 and am testing now to see if sync works. I'll report back.

Confirming camera FC's and yellow tint. Besides that all else is working good. Will test wifi after work.

Installed super user and itndidnt work, supersu did though.
And I get fc with root explorer everytime for some reason. I fastebooted back to stock then fresh installed. Anyone else have trouble with root explorer?
