Loved your work on the Nexus S, excited to have you developing here as well. So far the ROM is very smooth and stable.

Here is a link for the CDMA Galaxy Nexus miui rom you were asking about

Thanks for the link.

Hmm...

I flashed this twice, and for some reason, Messaging is corrupted. When I open it, It has no clickable buttons other than the 2 tabs and settings button. No new message or anything like that. This is basically my only problem. Also, It could use a CWM in there
Went back to regular AOKP until everything is surely fixed :) Thanks for your effort, this is definitely better than the stock official one, still a little big laggy to me though...

can you explain your "tweaks" in your rom?

Here was something I came across XDA

Since the "dev" of the rom cannot explain his tweaks I decided to take a look.

Here are the "tweaks" implemented

1. auto backup efs script
Just a copy/pasted script from modaco rom to backup phone efs

2. sysctl script
refers to ". /system/etc/liberty.cfg" file. Too bad this isn't liberty rom so the cfg file does not exist

3. firstboot script
Runs "/data/firstboot.sh" on first boot. Too bad this doesn't exist.

5. freemem script
refers to a "/system/etc/liberty.cfg" file that does not exist. This is not liberty rom

6. dalvik and remove cache script
The two scripts are both listed at 6 priority in init.d which means either one or both will not load

7. fix perms
Looks for two files that do not exist
. /system/etc/liberty.cfg
. /system/etc/liberty.bsh

9. cron script
Looks for file that do not exist
. /system/etc/liberty.cfg

98. tweaks
Script made for leankernel, does it even work on franco kernel?

99. lean tweaks
Script made for leankernel, looks for kernel info and applies changes. Included kernel is franco kernel so this script does nothing

as the developer of a custom rom IMO you are responsible to know what you are providing to people. Instead of copy/pasting every single script made available from others into a rom made available by others and saying that your rom is faster, please look into what you are applying and be able to explain if someone asks

I'm just curious what kind of tweaks you implmented to a closed source project to make this superior to other MIUI roms.

Seems most 'tweaks' are just scripts from gummyrom and leankernel copied over, but I don't see either of those mentioned in the OP so was curious.

Thanks.
