No one is really doing anything for it. Verizon seems to have forgotten about it. I personally don't use it, but my wife does. Has tons of battery issues stock, so rooted and flashed a clean DL17 rom 2.1.1. the battery life is alot better however the cell standby is very very horrible. My droid x could have 3 bars of signal and hers will be stuck on 1x if anything. Ive seen some stuff on other forums about such and such talked to verizon and said an update is coming soon etc but I really would like to hear from a samsung rep if samsung has/hasn't provided verizon with any kind of working update. I know there is a DL20? i believe but its still 2.1. and if they have provided verizon anything above 2.1 if verizon rejected it is there anyway to release this to ppl who would like to develop this? thanks

Continuim will get horrible battery life, no matter what. (Thanks to that awesome "second" screen.)

Throw the *****( the phone) in a lake and pat urself on the back. That's what I did. :)

The Continuum has one continuous screen, it's not a second screen. The kernel and display drivers split it up into 3 separate "screens" though for the ROM to display the main UI, the soft key buttons, and the ticker. As for the updates, the initial firmware was DJ20, and that was followed by DL17, which is currently the latest available firmware for it (officially). There have been 2 Froyo leaked firmwares, EC03 which is 2.2.1, and EC07, 2.2.2. From what I've ready, the battery life improves some with the updated firmware. I haven't personally used either of them though, so I can't say for certain what improvements there are. I believe that EC07 is equivalent to the ED05 ROM for the Fascinate, and the Continuum sub-forum on XDA has been quite busy recently compared to before the Froyo leaks. That being said, it would still be nice for the phone to get officially updated to at least Froyo.
