[background=transparent]Hi, I'm Yelamos, the community manager of ARlab, a company that develops Augmented Reality base software . We develop SDKs for developers that include Augmented Reality functionalities such as computer vision (image matching, tracking, face tracking, face recognition, motion detection, etc...) and 3D ( 3D render engine). Our aim is that non computer vision or 3D developer are able to use its features as experts from both fields.[/background]

[background=transparent]Here you have two Vimeo videos showing up some functionalities of our recently released SDKs: ARBrowser and Image Matching[/background]

Looks interesting. Outside the obviously different Objective C/Cocoa and Java syntax/structure, how different are your APIs for Android and iOS in terms of functionality and code consistency? Just wondering in terms of porting from one to the other with little rewriting as possible.

Damn it now I want to find a reason to use this sdk

Thank you for sharing! Now what to do...
Well if it'll help to enlighten you guys, here are links to 2 of the forum threads regarding two of the open source apps that we've designed for devs to check out. There's a game called BombAR implemented with the ARBrowser SDK and an app that recognizes movie posters among other things called BoxOffice implemented with the Image Matching SDK.

As you mentioned, despite the obviously differences between both programming languages we have tried to build an unified API, independent of the programming language used, with the same flow, functionalities and performance. So, the idea is that you, as developer, are able to port it from one to other in a very easy and fast way.
