i have run a ton of different roms on my phone, cm7, cm9, various MIUI roms, and others... but somehow, whenever i install roms from THE COLLECTIVE etc they will come up first boot asking for a unlock password. even when one isn't set. even when i wipe the phone back to factory and repeat the whole process, never inputting a unlock code. this happened to me on the AEON roms, on the ZEUS roms, Revelation, etc...miui, cm7/9, factory, no issue

any ideas what im doing wrong here?

figured it out.

what it is, is if you setup a corporate/exchange account that has a mobile security policy on it requiring encryption. the fix is to disable/remove the security, removing the account if necessary, then disable all encryption on the device. now you can flash aeon/emancipation/revolution/etc
