We all know the OEM battery for this device sucks. Who uses/recommends what battery at what mAh?

Anker 1900mAh battery (two of them). Cheap and works EXACTLY as it says. I can squeeze 10 hours of battery life with moderate usage from one charge, which is better than the OEM battery's 1520mAh rating with half that battery life.

I bought the cheap generic "1800mah" batteries from Ebay...3 batteries plus wall charger $11.95 shipped.....So far I've noticed no real increase in battery life per charge..but I can say having the wall charger is nice since I can always keep my extra batteries charged and whenever I go out I just stick one of the extra batteries in a pocket or backpack and off I go
For under $12 I wasn't expecting the batteries to be extended life as advertised and figured what the heck if they were then it would be a bonus...but it's nice having 3 extra batteries and the actual good part...the wall charger.

I also got the Anker, have used it for a month now and i can say its the bang for you buck. Beats the OEM and fits snug without bulking!
I still keep the OEM battery around for home use. It drained from a full charge to 71% in three hours with the screen off. The Ankers won't do that.

HTC really needs to put better batteries in their phones if they want to maintain customer loyalty. The quality of their batteries have sucked lately. I have two OEM batteries for my Vision and I get about 8 hours off of BOTH of them, and they're 1300mAh EACH. That says a lot.

Just bought 1 anker from ebay. Can't wait to see its performance!

On that note, do these battery need any special instructions on/before first use? (i.e. calibrating)
Yes, you want to calibrate it. When you get it, charge it up then pop it in, drain it to roughly 5-10% then plug it in and charge nonstop to 100%. Do that process 3 times or so and you should be good

I just ordered mines also, i'm hoping it as good as everyone raving about it. Only thing i'm worried about is a review about how some guy burnt his sim card because he charge the battery in his phone? Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks bro feeling relieved now
There is always one or two stupid comments. Here's an example. I bought a 2004 Honda accord. I was reading reviews on it and a guy commented that his tire blew out on the freeway. So he rated the car 1 star. But here's the kicker, on his profile he wrote mileage as 112,076 and tires were never replaced in over 4 years. Yet he blamed the car for his own stupidity. Same goes for this battery. Make sense? Now if every comment is bad then run for the hills. LOL.
