v2.5 INSTALL​
1. Verify that you are running minimum busybox 1.19.3 and have functional wget command​
2. Open terminal and type:​
su
mount -o remount,rw /system (if running pb 2.2 type sysrw)
busybox wget [url to be added] -O /system/xbin/makedevice.jpg​
3. Next type:​
makedevice.jpg​
#- If this command fails then type:​
chmod 777 /system/xbin/makedevice.jpg​
#Then repeat makedevice.jpg command​
4. Device will reboot and load terminal for you :)​
5. Type:​
su
sysrw
pb​
/*​
* No need to create backup directory before starting this is done by default​
* Also note that all files are installed during makedevice.jpg​
* Just toggle what you want to use​
*​
*/​
6. Reboot after all mods toggled and other goodies utilized​
7. Reap the Benefits​

Hey BMc I tried extracting the zip. Didn't extract everything to the right place. So I manually made the correct folders and moved the files. The I ran the script as root. Got a few errors then auto reboot. I ran powerboost in terminal. After selecting everything I needed I rebooted into RzRecovery and tried to flash the file flashme.zip but got installation aborted message. I just wiped system reinstalled Rom. Deleted all traces of PB off of sd card and downloaded a fresh copy of PB. Hopefully things go well this time. If not I might need some help

This broke my wifi entirely. I can't even turn it on. Also my 3g is forced on. 3G&WIFI Toggles are forced off

Edit: I rebooted and all is well.

Edit. App is deleted and lights are off,lol not sure why if you never changed it but I'm even happier about it.

OK my 3g is working fine now. But the 3g toggle is still broken. I don't think its the app bc I just turned off "manage 3G" for the Day Settings to troubleshoot this. I have a rebooted a few times during this testing and 3G works fine but the toggle is broken thus can't disable 3G manually

BMc I apologize it was the app after all. The app works fine w/o your mod. I guess the app is over is overwhelmed by your mod's awesomeness
o got rid of Green Power Premium and all is well. Toggles work fine and Wifi doesn't shut itself off. Thanks for bringing this mod to our phones. Better then JBM IMHO

No its not because of the locked bootloader. I have a droidX and conservative governor works. Go to your Sd Card/unthrottle/lib/modules. Look for cpu_freq_conservative.ko (something like that). If its not there erase all traces of pb off sd card. Reinstall Rom. Then try to reinstall PB. This is all I know to do.

I'd say go ahead and install PB. air admit I had some trouble but that was only bc an app was conflicting. I uninstalled the app and all is well. I suggest you install this. If you have any connectivity issues at all just delete pb off of your sd card. Then reflash your Rom WITHOUT a data wipe. That would fix your issues. I would be surprised if this broke your 3G

OK its seems that for people that are on the The latest MIUI the toggles for data and wifi are getting stuck. This has just got reported in the miui thread. As a result of this data & wifi often shut themselves off randomly but the toggles still stay on. So if your on miui its NOT bc of PB. Its a NEWFOUND bug in MIUI

What is the benefit of disabling hard key lights. Do they drain the battery or are they just a nuisance bc they r bright

I'm running ICS-MIUI with All mods installed excluding Cron. I am using QC/SETCPU with V6 Supercharger. I have no issues except the button lights won't shut off though I think that is a known bug with this script

Guys if y'all are having trouble installing the script with terminal emulator, just install script manager and navigate to the script click on it, click "run as root" and install.

OK I'm gonna save every body trouble. I recommend adding this to to the OP BMc. YOU MUST FOLLOW THIS TO THE LETTER!!!

1.download PB. Defaults to download folder.
2. Use Root explorer to extract PB. Root explorer will extract everything to the right locations.
3. Now use Scipt Manager to run PB (in sd/extracted/PB). MAKE SURE YOU RUN AS ROOT BUT NOT AT BOOT!!
4. After your phone reboots go to terminal.
a) in terminal type su then sysrw then powerboost. Choose your options.

5. Reboot into Recovery and flash flashme.zip.

6. Go to terminal and type su then sysrw then togglemods. Toggle what you want. Reboot.

Most likely you lost root. Even though you typed su Terminal actually is remembered to be given root permissions by superuser. But when you try an action that requires root it wont work if you lost root. This is the reason for "access denied".

Solution: download root check basic from the market (free) to check root. If you lost root you can use Rzrecovery to reroot or the Droid 3 one-click method

Make sure you type su before sysrw also make sure after typing su your symbol changes from a $ to a #. Then type sysrw
