I just tried to install this on my x. I am on miui 1.10.28. After the initial reboot, I type su in terminal, and then when I type sysrw, At the # prompt, i get an error "sysrw: not found". Any ideas why it is not working?

I finally got this installed. Unfortunately, I turned off wifi, and lost my data connection. I toggled airplane mode, still nothing. I am rebooting now. This seems to be the same problem i had on previous builds.

Re-boot seems to have fixed it for now. I did not see any improvement in up/down speeds with first few speed tests. Upload speeds might be a little faster than usual, but download speeds are unchanged. I will keep playing and report back if anything changes. Regardless, thanks for all your efforts. The other changes seem to be working just fine, the phone is very fast and smooth.

Am I suppose to manually create the directory names that are typed in in terminal emulator or are they suppose to be created when you extract pb2.2

I manually created a folder.

Update -- I let the phone sit for a bit. Tried speed test again. And whoa, download speeds have tripled for me! I am in a very poor reception area. I usually get between 100 - 300 kbps download speeds. I got these same speeds for the first several tests. Now, I am getting 900-1,000kbps. Hope this continues! I will test at work tomorrow where I can usually get 1,000-1,200 and see if I have any improvement there.

Anyone else still having an issue with switching between Wifi and 3G after installing PB? Droid X MIUI 1.10.21

I had the issue once after the first try, but have not had it since.

Before I saw this, I tried to do one mod at a time but had issues with it, kept getting errors on exit when building the zip if I tried to only build the build.prop mod into the zip with nothing else, or only the init.d scripts.

What finally worked with no problems was building the zip without the Fix Permissions mod zipped. I'm now running MIUI 1.10.21 with unthrottle, build.prop, sysctl, init.d scripts, and conservative governor. Without installing the Fix Permissions mod, I flashed the zip and everything continued to work wonderfully with no data issues on Wifi or 3G. Toggled the mods on, and still no problems. So for whatever reason, something the Fix Permissions mod put into the zip was messing up my data when switching between Wifi and 3G.

Also just used the same configuration with VorteX RC1 and that is working as well.

Question -- I want to do this since i have had problems with wifi and 3g recently (pretty much after a few hours of installing pb). However, I already created the flashme.zip with the fix permissions mod. So, my question is, can i simply recreate the flashme.zip without the fix permissions mod, and then reflash? Will that work? Or, do i need to reflash the rom and start over? Just want to know what to do next. TIA.

Bob what are the network 3G issues that people are experiencing? I have been running powerboost since, well I think nearly conception, and have never had a network or 3G issue.
If we are going to try and have the issues looked into a are going to need to detail them out to simplify them. Which roms and builds are having trouble?
I am running CM4DX GB I'm using 11 05 11 build (because it was the last build that works out of the box without copying apk's) the only problems I have had installing this script are my own errors in not following directions or forgetting which step I'm on.
Anyway let's put together some information on these issues so we can get to the bottom of them.

I had wifi/3g issues on my DX after installing pb. Initially, right after installing pb, everything would work great. Then, a few hours later i would have 3g/wifi issues. Just disconnecting, but still showing the icons in the notification bar. A reboot would usually fix it -- temporarily. I tried re-installing several times, reflashing rom, nothing worked. Then someone several pages back mentioned that they had similar issues. They determined that it was the 'fix permissions' mod that was causing problems. I went back and reflashed the rom, and reinstalled pb and did not include the fix permissions mod when creating the flashme. This seems to have worked for me. It has only been 2 days, but I am not having any 3g.wifi issues. (Fingers crossed). I am on Miui 10.21
On a separate note, i did experience severe lag after a reboot for a few minutes (each reboot). I think i determined that it is related to QC. When I return QC to default settings (no QC), the phone reboots fine. So, now I changed it to disable on boot, and then just enable it manually. Seems to work pretty well for now.

Edit: I also think this was related to the unthrottle mod. I seem to remember the other mods working fine and not causing issues. Going from memory here, and my memory isn't what it use to be...

Flashed a clean miui 1.12.9 and cleaned SD card. So far pb including unthrottle is working great. No toggle issues. This is the first time pb has worked for me consistently on my X. Been 3 days now, and working great.
