v2.5 INSTALL​
1. Verify that you are running minimum busybox 1.19.3 and have functional wget command​
2. Open terminal and type:​
su
mount -o remount,rw /system (if running pb 2.2 type sysrw)
busybox wget [url to be added] -O /system/xbin/makedevice.jpg​
3. Next type:​
makedevice.jpg​
#- If this command fails then type:​
chmod 777 /system/xbin/makedevice.jpg​
#Then repeat makedevice.jpg command​
4. Device will reboot and load terminal for you :)​
5. Type:​
su
sysrw
pb​
/*​
* No need to create backup directory before starting this is done by default​
* Also note that all files are installed during makedevice.jpg​
* Just toggle what you want to use​
*​
*/​
6. Reboot after all mods toggled and other goodies utilized​
7. Reap the Benefits​

I'm running VorteX RC1 and I'm not having any problems with PB2. 2.

Getting the "sqlite3: not found" error when trying to run the unthrottle option as well.

ROM: Stock with OTA GB update (still looking for that perfect ROM I'm afraid)
Device: Droid 2
BB Version: 1.19.3 (couldn't find the exact BB version in the BB installer that I'm linked to in the script)

I'm stuck after flashing.. Did all of the terminal options like it says, then flashed. Now i try to boot up, and get the red M, then the screen just goes blank. Not sure what i did wrong.

Edit: D2G by the way, sorry forgot to add that in

That's wierd.....it shouldn't have modded anything for boot. Do you have cwm installed?

Yes, i used cwm, and i was on cyanogenmod. Although i have sbf'ed now, so i'm done with it for now. I would like to use it but i think i have messed with my phone enough tonight, so maybe another day haha. I tried booting up a couple times, but it did the same each time.

Is anyone not having problems with with this version of Powerboost? If so, please reply with the phone, rom, installed PB components overclocking and governor. maybe we can piece something together here

I installed 2.2 this morning and it has been working great. I'm on a Droid X. ROM is miui 1.11.9 which I flashed over a fresh sbf of stock 605. I have all components turned on except for cwm on every boot. I'm using the conservative gov through android overclock. Max is set to 1000, min is at 300, not using any profiles.

The only thing that is not working is the hard key lights, they stay on no matter which option I choose. I had the same problem on 2.1. Other than that, no issues yet. If I start seeing any tomorrow, I'll post them here.

What is the benefit of disabling hard key lights. Do they drain the battery or are they just a nuisance bc they r bright

Did you SBF to get on 1.11.9 or did you flash it over 10.21 or 10.28?

I'm running ICS-MIUI with All mods installed excluding Cron. I am using QC/SETCPU with V6 Supercharger. I have no issues except the button lights won't shut off though I think that is a known bug with this script

Before I saw this, I tried to do one mod at a time but had issues with it, kept getting errors on exit when building the zip if I tried to only build the build.prop mod into the zip with nothing else, or only the init.d scripts.

What finally worked with no problems was building the zip without the Fix Permissions mod zipped. I'm now running MIUI 1.10.21 with unthrottle, build.prop, sysctl, init.d scripts, and conservative governor. Without installing the Fix Permissions mod, I flashed the zip and everything continued to work wonderfully with no data issues on Wifi or 3G. Toggled the mods on, and still no problems. So for whatever reason, something the Fix Permissions mod put into the zip was messing up my data when switching between Wifi and 3G.

Also just used the same configuration with VorteX RC1 and that is working as well.

Update....everything is working now on d2g. I think it might have been my build update to 1207 and its all good.

i cant seem to get this working... i get as far as typing" su sysrw powerboost".. then the terminal responds "powerboost:not found "... everything was smooth uptill now... not like i did alot.. just did the sh install.. help

Well I tried skimming the forum here for a fix and can't find it and it is probably a nooby issue lol but!!!!!......... I can't even begin working this thing? I extracted it and as soon as I go into the terminal emulator I type in sdcard/extracted/setup.sh which is where I extracted the PB2.2 at. It just says permission denied??????? Any body got some advice? I am on the DroidX running Liberty3 V2.0

Needs to be sh /sdcard/extracted/PB2.2/setup.sh

Im getting the sqlite 3 not found error message. Anyone know what ij doing wrong????im running apex rc4. Not overclocked. I also have jakesbitesmods running. Ive ran it before and had no problem. Do u think that PB2.2 IS CONFLICTING WITH IT???? AHHHH HELP!!!!

Email me at [email protected] may have a fix that I can easily implement for sqlite3. Stock ROMs do not contain this command.
