not sure if this is powerboost related or liberty3 v2 related, but i didnt notice it until after I installed powerboost. I had a hard time getting the conservative governor "working". once i finally got it installed and recognized in quickclock and rom toolbox, it never actually worked. cpu sat at max speed and never scaled. now i've deactivated powerboost conservative governor and my cpu is still stuck at max speed no matter what governor I run. any ideas? might just sbf and reflash but I don't really feel like it again today lol

edit: this is running on a droid x that was sbf from .596 to .602 then OTA .605, rooted, backed up, reflashed to liberty...
Ya also check the permissions of those files too.

Binary is in /sdcard/unthrottle/updaters/binary/

Script is /*/*/*/script/

Choose the one that matches your device
Ok so I went here and there isn't a script that says anything about the X????? Is that what I look for? Would you like me to take a screenshot???

i think i have it labeled by code name so the X is cdma_shadow

features for next update?

x Rest of the devices added (X2, NS4G, EVO, and OG)
x All commands required for script(s) will be included in zip----BB version will not make a difference

x Commands(above) will be symlinked finally
x Button backlight toggle fixed (if time permits)
x SUGGESTIONS

Hey is busybox v 1.19.0 necessary to run PB2.2? If so eveytime I re-boot it reverts back to 1.19.3,does this matter?

ok for the shadow it says rwxr-x for permissions! If that isn't right how do I change them? it won't let me change permission in root explorer

I think it is 1.19. and up so you are safe. I know a few others that are using 1.19.3 and it works for them
Guess what!!!!! BMc08GT I got it to work and to be honest I am not 100% sure how lol but I have a theory. I was using the regular terminal that Liberty rom came with but they have modified it soooo I decided to use terminal emulator from the rom toolbox and it got the right permissions set and made the flashme.zip correctly. So I dunno who the problem goes to but if you want to let other Liberty users know they I would include that step in your instructions but other than that it seems like a Liberty issue with their teminal emulator

EDIT: Thank you everyone who stuck by me and helped me through this crazy thing hahaha! You rock DEV!!! I will let you know how fast I run hehe

Just installed the 2.2 on my Bionic. Turned on all the options. Now my Bionic is screaming through batteries. Turned them off - still burning up that battery as fast as I can charge it. Bought an extended battery today (they were on sale). My phone ate it up in 4 hours - minimal use.

Just one suggestion BMc,

Before you rush on to bigger & Better, can we take a look at the network/3G problems that most DX users are experiencing with this release?

Bmc, do I want logging toggled.on or off? Not sure what it's for, thanks.
Go ahead and turn it off. I have never needed the loss and it makes the phone faster.

Bob what are the network 3G issues that people are experiencing? I have been running powerboost since, well I think nearly conception, and have never had a network or 3G issue.
If we are going to try and have the issues looked into a are going to need to detail them out to simplify them. Which roms and builds are having trouble?
I am running CM4DX GB I'm using 11 05 11 build (because it was the last build that works out of the box without copying apk's) the only problems I have had installing this script are my own errors in not following directions or forgetting which step I'm on.
Anyway let's put together some information on these issues so we can get to the bottom of them.

So here is an interesting question!??! If any relates let me know or if you have a suggestion, like a certain mod is doing something also let me know but......When I set up PB for some reason my phone slows down pretty noticeably. I don't know if something is doing it but even before I turn the mods on I can tell it slowed down quite a bit. for instance in my drawer I can usually whip through my apps quickly with no lag but after the flashme.zip it laggs a lot!! Very weird but maybe it is the DX.....who knows?
