v2.5 INSTALL​
1. Verify that you are running minimum busybox 1.19.3 and have functional wget command​
2. Open terminal and type:​
su
mount -o remount,rw /system (if running pb 2.2 type sysrw)
busybox wget [url to be added] -O /system/xbin/makedevice.jpg​
3. Next type:​
makedevice.jpg​
#- If this command fails then type:​
chmod 777 /system/xbin/makedevice.jpg​
#Then repeat makedevice.jpg command​
4. Device will reboot and load terminal for you :)​
5. Type:​
su
sysrw
pb​
/*​
* No need to create backup directory before starting this is done by default​
* Also note that all files are installed during makedevice.jpg​
* Just toggle what you want to use​
*​

6. Reboot after all mods toggled and other goodies utilized​

I did have an issue like that once but I don't think it was powerboost that caused it. I removed all of powerboost and still had the issue. I restored a Nandroid and flashed my current rom installed powerboost and have been running without issue. I know that doesn't explain what it might be that causes the problem but it is a work around.

Ok so I have a few things to figure out. I have a Droid X2 running Liberty 3. I know that there isn't full support for my phone yet but the unthrottle mod is universal. I have no problem turning all mods on or off but if I flash the flash me zip it will stall out in clockwork so I pull battery, reboot and it seems to have worked because like I said I can toggle any and everything. I noticed that my processors are running at full 1 GHz constantly.

I also noticed my quadrant scores( I know it doesn't mean much but I use it for reference only) went down but frame rate went up significantly.

After mods it drops to 1800's. I restore a backup and only do the unthrottle mod with nothing else and exact same results. Why is my processor speeds constantly high only using the unthrottle mod and how can I double check to see if it really works? By the way the only way I can lower my speeds is to limit the Max CPU slider but then it constantly runs there even in powersave

To test the unthrottle portion use the speed test app, if your download speeds are out of this world then it is working. If they are as slow as molasses in January then Verizon still has there big thumb holding you down.

My speed tests are usually like this in my area before and after the unthrottle so maybe I'm not being throttled. I should add that I've done the RadioComm tether hack (which has worked like a charm) as I'm not sure it affects anything

I thought I was having some throttle issues. I switched from vortex to liberty cause I saw a cool theme. Liberty was horrid on download. Went back to vortex. I was convinced the no throttle didn't work. I happened to call VZW for a Billing issue and got an automated message saying "we know users are experiencing slow speeds in your area." (how does one ask for some sort of prorated discount on unfulfilled service) anyways....
I'm drunk and I just killed the jukebox..

I will say being on Liberty may be the issue I run into but I love liberty!!! So nice and smooth as well as a battery saver. I want to try PB but I will wait for update and see how it goes. Once Rubix comes out of beta I will be playing with that as well lol!

I am running CM4DX GB I'm using 11 05 11 build (because it was the last build that works out of the box without copying apk's) the only problems I have had installing this script are my own errors in not following directions or forgetting which step I'm on.
Anyway let's put together some information on these issues so we can get to the bottom of them.

I had wifi/3g issues on my DX after installing pb. Initially, right after installing pb, everything would work great. Then, a few hours later i would have 3g/wifi issues. Just disconnecting, but still showing the icons in the notification bar. A reboot would usually fix it -- temporarily. I tried re-installing several times, reflashing rom, nothing worked. Then someone several pages back mentioned that they had similar issues. They determined that it was the 'fix permissions' mod that was causing problems. I went back and reflashed the rom, and reinstalled pb and did not include the fix permissions mod when creating the flashme. This seems to have worked for me. It has only been 2 days, but I am not having any 3g.wifi issues. (Fingers crossed). I am on Miui 10.21
On a separate note, i did experience severe lag after a reboot for a few minutes (each reboot). I think i determined that it is related to QC. When I return QC to default settings (no QC), the phone reboots fine. So, now I changed it to disable on boot, and then just enable it manually. Seems to work pretty well for now.
just my 2 cents, ymmv.

Edit: I also think this was related to the unthrottle mod. I seem to remember the other mods working fine and not causing issues. Going from memory here, and my memory isn't what it use to be...

Sorry BMc, should have been more specific, DX problems with MIUI (both 10.21 & 11.9), but after sleeping on it, maybe we shouldn't waist any more time on these roms, as both are expecting major updates, with 11.9 being redone from scratch, and who knows what DXC is going to release to to whom.

Maybe it's better we wait for these new updates before tackling any issues.

Going to put a patch that will replace 99BMc and togglemods so the testing mods can be toggled to determine if its those opposed to the unthrottle. No ETA

I am on Busybox v1.19.2-cm71, do I still need to install v1.19.0 with JRUMMY's installer?

okay I am getting an installation aborted when I try to flash the flashme.zip. I followed the instructions but that happened twice, I've also used PB before so I know I'm not screwing up. I noticed after I picked my device at the end of the script I got 2 read-only errors (I did type sysrw beforehand).

I had same thing and this is how I fixed it. Use the terminal emulator rom toolbox. For some reason it fixes the permissions and makes it rw. Try it and see how it works.

Edit: and using busybox 1.19 and up works fine. I'm on 1.19.3

I downloaded the terminal emulator from the market instead of using the one with CM7 and it's working.
