This is a theme I cooked up to give a gingerbread look and feel to your phone, crt and orange glow animations included. It's not intended to be a 100% nexus s look conversion, so cut me some slack. I'm happy with it, and figured I'd just share it with everyone else. If you don't like it...fine. Please don't ask me to change anything.

I achieved the looks in the attached screenshots with the help of adw launcher ex and beautiful widgets.

The CRT animation is credited to religi0n over at "the other" dev forum I was talking about. I used his framework as a base. Also thanks to nitroglycerine33 as peeking at his framework helped me figure out the lockscreen and ericerk for pointing me in that direction. You guys are more than welcome to take this and change it up however you want. I'd love to see someone with more time develop it further.

Flash this through recovery like you would any other theme. I recommend you wipe cache and dalvik.

Changelog:

v3 - pulldown background changed to remove blue, highlights changed to orange, and other changes
v2.1 - removed a little more of the moto blue (i.e. the blue "settings" title bar is gone)
v2 - added lockscreen

This shouldn't be this complicated, yet I'm banging my head against a wall here. Moto stuff is weird...especially coming from htc land. You talking about the eclipse rom? I'll checkout his framework and try to see what he did. Giving credit of course if I can figure it out. Thanks.

edit: In other news...we now have our own theme section! The mods are really on top of things here.

Figured it out thanks to Nitro's rom. Must have been something to do with how I was saving the png's after I edited them. v2 on the way.

I don't believe so, as this is made for P3Droid's rooted stock which I do not believe is deodexed.

Ha, no you're fine. The elements you mentioned were items I didn't like either but was too lazy to fix. So another person wanting it too gave me the motivation. Unless I find any earth shattering issues (which I haven't yet) this will probably be the final version.

Kk consider themeing icons too

Use adw ex. There are entire theme packs for it on the market. One is by kovdev or something like that and has an insane amount of icons.

Just wanna say thanks to u & Funkencool for all your work u guys have done with the themes. It's really nice to be able to change up the look on my X2 everyday if I want... Well not everyday lol but thanks again guys and the works very appreciated :android-smile:

after flashing this my status bar went away(im guessing thats what you call the bar on the top with the battery,signal strengh,etch and i wasnt able to pull it down to view if i had any texts or not, now i flashed back to the stock theme but im still missing the samethings, any idea on how to fix this?

This is only for p3droid's rooted gingerbread, as stated in the op. You'll just need to wipe cache and reflash your rom.
