So I was struggling with the 16GB size of my Touchpad and the unsexy way you have add music to the system. I've been running Pulptunes for a while as a music webserver, so why not combine the two!

It works better than I thought and the Touchpad will even allow the music to continue to play in the background once you've switched to another app! This isn't anything new, but I thought it might be helpful for other users. Enjoy!

Seems interesting... There is a front end to another app in the Touchpad market...http://ampache.org/ with the front end app being called Ampache XL in the Webos market.. Nice find... I dual boot between OS X Lion and Windows 7 on my Macbook... I'm thinking of moving the library to the Ubuntu machine, since it streams to the other devices anyway.

You could also use the built in webserver in opera to do it. It works with your existing file structure and requires no extra bs other than turning on the server itself in Opera. It would work on linux, windows and osx and has a simple setup interface.

Pulptunes requires either using itunes or creating a database that works with it (a huge xml file that you can put together using something like the winamp media library exporting) to make it work with pulptunes. It's also some crappy java software. It has a nice UI at least, so I cant hate on everything about it (too bad they don't implement things better underneath :( .

I am aware that not everyone likes Opera, so lets please not turn this into a browser war, just throwing out suggestions :)
