Ok update has dropped. Rom is unchanged, Gapps is new. It fixes the issues with G-Talk video as well as sillyfaces. We recommend a full wipe due to the new Gapps.

Updated, please review changelog. Full wipe is only needed if coming from another rom, otherwise just wipe cache and dalvik cache. Fix for face unlock should be included in next release.

Is there a way to remove the Japanese and Chinese keyboard options? I know its possible when making the rom but maybe it was left in intentionally... Which is understandable but I'd still like to disable it if possible...

Just want to say that I absolutely LOVE this on my Xoom. I do have an issue though. I flashed the 01/15 update today and now my face lock isn't working anymore. It was working on the 01/13 update just fine. With every update that I do, I wipe cache and dalvik. Do I need to do a full wipe on this latest one here? I would assume that if anyone else was having similar issues they would have posted it by now. Camera works great. When I try to do the setup for the face lock, it tells me that it can't start it.
I woumd recommend a full wipe and reflash.

Update is live. A few notes, GPS icon works but will not highlight when you select it unless you close and reopen the notification pop up (working on a fix). Also, you can longpress the icons to go into the perspective settings menu.

So should I use any build as a first install before I go to the latest update?

Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
Nope, if this is your first install just wipe fully then flash rom then gapps. If your already one of our builds just wipe caches then flash rom and gapps.

Never mind, found out that Clockwork Mod updated to a non sdcard mounting version. Reflashed CWM to earlier version and selected the update-cm-9.0.0-20120125-XOOM-KANG-signed.zip from sdcard, now I'm booting the CM-9 on the Xoom, funky startup, its taking a while though... how much time should it take on first boot?
You will want to use either our Rogue recovery or Solarnz recovery. Our recovery can be found here

BIG update tonight gives a glimpse of what some new CM9 features are going to look like. Please be advised allot of the new options and features are NOT fully operational as of today but we chose to include them anyway. We are working hard to make all of these new features work correctly, so please refrain from reporting issues with them.

You can rest assured that each new build we release will not only continue to include merged upstream changes, but will also have fixes for options that do not currently function correctly. We truly appreciate the support you guys have given us :D

I need some help if anyone can. I have this ROM running on my Xoom. Everything has been great with it until yesterday. I took a Micro SD card out of my camera and put it into the Xoom to get some pictures off of it. Everything was fine. I then put my normal Micro SD card back in the Xoom and all of a sudden it started smoking out of the card slot. I was able to eject the card but it ruined the card. I have no idea what caused this but I am still under warranty. The issue I think I may have is sending the Xoom to Motorola with this ROM on it. Is there anyway to revert back to stock without having the SD card slot working?
You will just need to fastboot the stock img's, no sdcard needed.
