Put this file in your System/lib then set permission to rw, r, r and reboot it should fix it. I had the same issue this fixed it.

Thanks but it's still not talking. *sigh* I guess as long as it displays text...
...from my experience, problems like this always have the most earth shatteringly simple fixes.

Really? Wow! You rebooted too?

Have you tried to re-flash? That's really the only other fix I can think of. Sorry man.

Yeah, I rebooted. I made sure my volume is up, tried headphones to see if it was possibly something to do with my speakers, tested my volume on other apps, the permissions read rw-, r--, r--, I reFLASHED to P6 (was first on P4), flashed gapps 0723 if it matters, tried both TTS engines (google and pico or whatever the second one was)
I've noticed things like the reboot menu and low battery warning hide behind the lock screen. Their visible but you can't touch them.

So if these are previews, any estimation on when we'll see actual builds? I'm kind of confused on what the previews are for? Are they building up to the point to where we'll have similar features to milestone 6?
This build works great, and Theme Chooser works with Cobalt. I'm happy.

Sent from the digital ether.
working well here too. lovin cobalt themes!

the previews are for us crack flashers who can't wait for actual builds. And yes we will have milestone 6 features. AOKP is on it!

Do you have your media volume up? Just asking lol...

Reading these post and seeing builds pop up and folks can build there own. Will there every be a true aokp rom? Or has aokp turned into the master kang os?
The kids are just playing in the sandbox, while our parents are busy working on the official house.

Should p6 still say build 1?
Also, I clean flashed with 7/26 gapps and auto restore didn't work...thought it should?

P6 will say build 1
With Maguro, p6, anyone else having issues connecting with USB? I know I read this somewhere, but think in a diff thread.

USB debugging was disabled upon install. I enabled, adb devices turns up empty. Not the end of the world, but anyone else? I know it's not kernel related.

Is fast charge on?
Another mirror for preview 6 for everyone.

Thanks for the link but I don't see theme chooser. Did it move from where it was in settings? Installed this w/ 7-23 gapps.

What I mirrored is just AOKP build 6. Euroskanks kang of AOKP release 6 is what has the theme chooser merged in.
P6 will say build 1
My preview 6 says preview 6.... I downloaded when it first became available
