Samsung got it right with the galaxy 10.1, I hate all the other tablets after seeing it, idk.

Thrive. Waiting to see in person though. Most interoperability of any tablet. Full size USB, HDMI, full sz SD card (up to128gb SDXC) replaceable battery, fast charge 90% in 90 min. Twice as thick as an ipad and 10x the tablet.

Really surprised nobody mentioned the locked bootloader on the retail 10.1. I too have a iPad 2 and will also have a Transformer tomorrow. Can't beat the gaming on the iPad.

I saw specs today on two archos honeycomb tabs coming in the fall. 8& 10 inch, full memory upto 256,dual core, and being sold as wifi, with separate 3g stick so you can add 3g capability any time. Looked pretty sweet and the price was @$250 & $350. Saw it on androinica. Would like to see more because the price point is perfect?

I have a galaxy tab and for internet and app use it's great. Im probably going to end up with a zoom, or asus tab.. Im digging the price of the Asus. I think the iPad is over hyped. And I think touch whiz is a joke.

Well hopefully someone can rip the I/O bootloader and put that on.
If i had to buy a tablet, I'd still get the Galaxy Tap 10.1. Especially if its an I/O edition.

I bought a iPad 2 yesterday.. I was between it and the 10.1 and decided I would wait for honeycomb to get more refined and also the fact that the resale on the iPads is much better..

I have a Galaxy Tab 10.1 with a locked bootloader and its really not an issue. I easily rooted it and installed a custom kernel on it the second day I had it.

I am still unsure of the reasons why a tablet needs rooted at this point anyways... I don't see any substantial benefits compared to phones .. oh well and on that note.. my wifes retail 10.1 came unlocked ..
