Title says it for the most part. The reps all told me the xoom didn't support SD cards so I had planned to root, but then I read about the update to support SD. Now I'm torn BC all my phones have been rooted but I'm not sure if I need to root this thing lol. Custom roms are sexy tho

i would root it and install Team Tiamat Xoom Rom 2.2.1 - Moray has the best customization as well as all the extra features and i have mine overclocked at 1.6Ghz stable

you can always go back and unroot if you want.

Cool. Might do that route. The guys at best buy installed the updates when they "set it up" so I'll have to try that new universal method
