Cant get wireless driver figured out on Arch and either missing something or don't understand info in arch wiki.

I downloaded tar from realtek site. Have that extracted to /lib/firmware/RTL8188CE, now what do I need to do?

Where are you currently with your install? Gnome kde cli etc? Specs? My dv6 works fine with the exact wireless card. Should be automatically detected as it is in the kernel.

Edit: just saw how old this was haha.

Thanks for reply anyway. I gave up for now, I was going with Gnome but I ended up just using Archbang and changing the desktop over. But Archbang found my wireless card fine but then I messed up my partitions trying to resize them and right now just running some Lubuntu.
