I'm curious to know, since the people in this forum are still rocking the OG, what phones have caught your fancy? I still haven't found that "one" phone that has really caught my attention and made me want to put the OG down yet. I was hyped about the Droid 3, but the pentile display and the fact that it is locked has really swayed me away from it. The Bionic is promising but I'm really disappointed in the RAM, I would think Moto would've done better with that. So what say you?

If I'm not mistaken the atrix has not been unlocked. The news story floating around yesterday was started by a site that was working with a developement build on a dev phone. Probably will never be seen by the public.

But back on topic, nothing has wowed me yet either, but with tiered data coming, I purchased a droid charge. Not really a device I wanted, but my line was due an upgrade, so I got it and am giving my og droid to the mrs. So she can get locked in on unlimited.

Mynext device is either the nexus s 4g, or the evo 3d. I'm switching to sprint, because i can't afford tiered data when i upgrade.

I'm seriously considering the Bolt right now. It seems to have a lot of support and is unlocked. Although with last night's news about the Atrix, I might just hold off to see what is up with the Bionic.

For me its the Galaxy S2. Its the perfect phone for me. I just hope its 4g LTE and it will be the best phone on verizon. Far better then the Bionic.

That's what I'm waiting for. I think even if it came without 4g LTE, id probably still get it. I keep checking for release dates!!!

The Droid 3 looked promising with the 5-row keyboard (long live QWERTY sliders) but I'm not sure now. Officially my contract isn't up until November so I have some time to weight my options. Who knows what will happen in that time. I might finally move to a non-Moto device. Only ever had Motorolas.

I'm still deciding on the xperia play, or the Dinc 2. Both seem awesome in their own way. But the play has the physical controls, and the Since 2 has nothing. Also, the play has gingerbread right off the bat, and is more rooted and changed. Depends on which one is more fun to hack :)

I'll be getting both a Bionic and the SGS2. I have two lines that are current up for renewal, one is mine and one is for my wife. Then I plan to keep the better of the two phones and my wife will use the other one (and by better I mean more developer-friendly). Of course, if the SGS2 isn't 4G this could change. In the meantime my wife and I are happy to continue to use our OG Droids with Project Elite v6.

First let me state that I have no children and would never try to tell someone how to parent.
But, I do feel obligated to ask if your 3 year old ever uses it like a phone in respect to holding it up to the ear?
Apparently even if it is no longer using certain of its capacities it did when used as a phone, it can still put out very dangerous levels of radiation. Especially dangerous for children due to the size of their heads. When an adult has the phone up to their ear the radiation has a penetration sphere that extends basically to the area right between the brains two hemispheres. But with children its sphere encompasses the entirety of the head.
There have been a large number of studies done, of course not here, as that would be bad for business and we are an oligarchy. Several countries have now banned the use of smartphones by children.
I apologize if you're already well aware of this and by no means do I want you to get the idea I'm telling you how to roll.
But this type of information isn't exactly getting the attention that naked pics of an elected official, that has zero impact on our lives or well being, receives.
Only wanted to bring valuable information to the attention of anyone unawares. Nothing more and nothing less.

Hey I hate it when someone comes down to where I work and slaps the shmegeggy outta my mouth.

Peace and hair grease

I upgraded my Droid to a Thunderbolt. It sucks at stock (most android phones do) but after today Im gonna root it opening up the sky to a new side of the bolt. :)
