Will something like this be developed for the HD Revolution ROM? I'm assuming it won't work on the current 2.1.2 Android Revolution ROM?

I liked this on RootzBoat but the fact it pushes the music up on lockscreen when on makes my OCD go nuts lol.

 

Let me see what I can do about bringing it down some. Can you post a screenshot of what it looks like before the mod?

That is without your mod. I haven't flashed your mod yet as I was on RB and with the 4 icon lockscreen it pushes the album art way up and the controls way further up top. xoomdev said he was looking into it and as stated not a huge deal since it still gives you the controls it just bugs my OCD lol.

Love the lock screen. I was wondering when there would be a phone and messaging shortcut on the lock screen. Thanks!

Any chance of changing the messaging shortcut to open third party SMS apps? (ie. GO SMS, Handcent, etc)

For AOKP build 13 only

This mod will add a short cut to your phone app and messing app to your lockscreen (see screenshot) it also includes two animation tweaks that make your phone feel all that much faster....

i didn't wipe dalvik though, unless this does it for you

If you're taking requests, a version that goes to dialer one instead would be great!

Just out of curiosity though, why is it that when I opened up the camera from the lock screen for the first time it gave me a choice from the other camera applications I have installed but sms and phone are defaulted to only the system apps?

+1 for being able to select which apps you want the icons to open, I'd prefer Google Voice for the messaging app.

But it would be great if unlocking with dialer or sms the you can chose your dialer/sms app.

 

Just a quick thing OP... Where are the originals located to back them up with? Or maybe you could compile it into an apk for people who want to try it but don't have to stick with it if they don't want to.

And another thing, this mod is so awesome, super job with ze photoshopz. Really though, I'M DYING TO TRY THIS OUT but I wanna be able to revert whenever...]

I modified the code in android.policy.jar for us google voice users. The messaging icon on the lock screen will now spawn the google voice activity. Enjoy!
