Does anyone have a problem where it will just hang when trying to power off? I tried darkside cache wipe and it still happens. My process for flashing this rom was: CWM wipe, darkside superwipe, flash rom, flash gapps, flash darkside cachewipe, reboot. I did not have this problem with build 1.
I have the same issue, Power off or reboot doesn't work, it just stuck there.

I having a hard time with search, sorry I'm green. Ever since installing milestone 1 on my T-Mobile gs2 I've been getting people telling me they cannot hear me. Its not every call and it doesn't seem to matter if I'm calling a land line or a cell. I went through all the settings but I didn't see anything, any suggestions?

I seem to be getting the same feedback when I am making calls. They can not hear me, or I am sounding broken up. Its about 1 out of every 5 calls I make. But after I connected my bluetooth and only use bluetooth headset, then I never seem to have this problem.

I installed my first custom rom using the AOKP JB Milestone 1 for the Hercules. My phone is the SGS2X SGH-T989D on Koodo (Telus).
The camera now does not shoot video and can only take images up to 3MP in the settings.

Can I install a different camera or use a custom kernal to fix this?

I've tried 2013-05-06, 2013-05-03, and milestone 1 on my T-Mobile SGH-T989... and none have cellular or data service at all.

Really looking into trying to get 4.2.2 on my phone, and this seems to be the best suited for me, but I can't seem to get it to work properly.

I do the normal wipe (even wiped cache), flash ROM, then flash gapps (with CWM 6.0.1.4). I can't get any internet connection whatsoever.

Any suggestions?

Update to the latest CWM 6.0.3.1 and make sure you're flashing the correct files for your device which can be found here http://aokp.co/devices/hercules. Check APN settings and make sure that they are correct.
Thanks for the response. I upgraded CWM, re-downloaded the files (again, nightlies 2013-05-06, 2013-05-03, and milestone 1 from aokp.co's website that you have linked), and made sure my APN settings were correct. Only the 'Milestone 1' package was able to get cellular service this time, and only after a second reboot. It works, though! I hope that was the only bug to be had with this. Hopefully I found my new ROM.

Appreciate your help, hazard209. Not sure why I didn't think to update CWM, but I think that was the trick.

Anytime. Glad you got it all figured out.

I am having the same problem as another user where after flash and proper wipes it just hangs after the cross bootscreen saying setup wizard has failed...
I just realized my TWRP touch is out of date and am trying to find a way to update it without ODIN-ing to stock?

What is my best course of action here?

EDIT: Upgraded to latest TWRP and still getting same "setup wizard" error. Halp?

Hi all,

I flashed my TMO-GSII with the 6-03-2013 build of your ROM. The Cell signal alternates between signal and no signal. I have checked the APN and flashed the latest radio, "T989UVLH1". Still no luck. Any idea what the issue is?

Thanks so much!

Same problem here. Same phone. I've had this problem with the last few builds. Also experienced unreliability with bluetooth.

After flashing to the latest milestone 2 today, I couldn't get the phone to register onto a mobile network. Tried 2 sims, 2 different operators, no luck. If I searched for networks, it gave an error, something like "Network not available. Try again later."

Everything else works fine. Anyone else experienced this? SGH-T989 (Hercules)

After troubleshooting for 2 hours, I restored to milestone 1 and everything is fine, including network registration.

Had the same issue, alternating between signal and no signal, so basically no network. Figured out that the baseband version should have been T989UVMC6 but was actually T989UVLI4. The T989UVLI4 wont work with Android 4.2, so I flashed the T989UVMC6 radio from xda. That solved this issue. Was previously on JB-MR1 BUILD 5 (2013-03-05) which had the T989UVMC6 baseband version by default.

Had two other problems that caused me revert back to my previous firmware.
1) The display refused to timeout and the power button short press stopped working. Long pressed worked for rebooting, but could not turn off screen. Rebooted and had the same problem. Removed the battery, problem went away, until it happened again and then removing the battery didn't help. Not sure if restoring my apps from TB contributed to this problem because it was not a problem initially.

2) After another clean flash of milestone 2, ribbon would (still) not let me rearrange icons on the ribbon, (actually it worked for 1 icon), nor would the save button let me save after trying to rearrange them.

Also noticed that even if I only granted 10 min superuser rights to ROM Control, Superuser never promped me even after the time expired and ROM Control didn't show up in the Superuser list, but I was still able to use ROM Control.

Ever since jb-mr1 I've never been able to use the LED notification function. I tried the new jb-mr2 milestone 1 and the LED notification features still doesn't work.

Troubleshooting:

I've made sure the Enables keys notifications is turned on

I factory reset device and installed with the newest CWM w/uvmc6 radio

I've tried all kinds of combinations of durations under LED Control without success

Any other suggestions?

I am looking for an answer to a question about jb-mr2 milestone 1, but I don't see a thread for it......anyway, here it is, I have no vibration with this rom (also installed is uber kernel to support BLN) and there is no vibration setting in rom options or elsewhere. Can anyone help me fix this? Many thanks.
