What he's saying is that most BBC stuff does not work outside of the UK as people in the UK pay tax for having the services of the BBC. Whether this app does or does not require that is something I do not know.

 

I don't think this has to do with the British government funding the BBC or the lack of licensing fees from us non-UKians. The app would work on my Droid or Thunderbolt.

Strange that one of my thunderbolts wouldn't have worked though. Also, the other Moto is a Xyboard 8.2, also incompatible.

 

Well now, that makes absolutely no sense. I apologize for my previous post, I was misinformed. What's interesting is that the NBC Olympics app works on my Galaxy Nexus running JB but not my Xoom running ICS.

Being outside of the UK isn't an issue because there is an international version of the app. I am at a loss as to why the nexus is listed as incompatible. I do not think jb is the issue but I can't be sure.
