I installed this rom last night just checking it out. At first it wasn't real usable as a daily for me. Everything kept crashing, and it wasn't smooth at all. I then installed set CPU and incredicontrols. I used the settings in set CPU as posted before. 384 min 998 Max and smartassv2. I then updated the voltage settings using incredicontrols to the settings that were also previously posted. Once I did this it came alive. Very smooth. No real force close problems. It will now be my daily for a while. Only things I have found that are not working for me are the panoramic camera and adobe flash. Neither of which are real important. This is a great from and I'm sure it will continue getting better. Thanks

I've been rolling with the new tiamat kernel for 3 or 4 days now. Battery life is still livable for my use with the default ondemand governor, but the reason I'll be sticking with it for now is the complete absence of the freezes I'd experienced with the incredikernel. I did have a single hard reboot, but I haven't been able to duplicate it, and that single incident remains preferable to the more common freezes of the incredikernel.
I'm a huge fan of the incredi- family of kernels, and anticipate eventually firing up IncrediControl and fiddling a bit since it seems common in the thread that issues are resolved with voltage tweaks.
I'm so grateful for the tiamat alternative to keep Evervolv working as my daily while development continues.

Been two days with the Tiamat kernel cayniarb put together specifically for this ROM. Much smoother and no freezing without having to mess with HAVS or SetCPU.

Does anyone know how to get the default wallpaper back. I switched the wallpaper and want to go back to the original that came with the rom and can't find it. Also, very nice rom by the way. Not as snappy as cm7, which I previously had, but I like the feel of ICS and think I'm going to stick with this for a while. Very nice job, by the developers. Also does the Hardware Acceleration work? I noticed the FORCE GPU rendering, which I'm assuming is what allows the hardware acceleration to work was originally unchecked and it seems a little laggy when I have it checked compared to when it isn't.

One more question, is it all right to undervolt to 128mhz?

I am so glad I found this forum!! I have been dying to give my Incredible some ICS love but wasn't able to find a decent ROM yet to use as a daily.

Until now that is. I flashed this 3 days ago, along with the Tiamat kernal, and I am IN LOVE! It's like a whole new phone all over again.

So far I haven't found 1 issue. I did have ADW freeze up on me once, but it did that a few times before this ROM, too so I don't know that it's related. I was able to install and use every app I had except the Gallery, but that function was easily replaced with QuickPic.

I don't really ever use the video camera function so I won't miss that, and I am sure it'll be fixed sooner or later anyway.

Welcome! Wow, I remember you from when I first got the phone and was sniffing about in the phandroid (I believe) forums, considering my first root. Bright and helpful are the adjectives that spring to mind- I'm glad you found this, too.

Yep, that was probably me! And thanks =) I spent a lot of time there, sadly the place has died down a lot since so many seemed to have moved on to bigger and "better" phones.

Me? I am still in love with my DINC and see no reason to leave it behind.

Mine didn't have a background by default ?

And about the hardware acceleration - I believe that is a limit of the hardware for the Dinc and I do not think it supported, hence why it would be unchecked and not work well when checked. Could be wrong here tho

I just flashed this ics build...NASTY. im very happy with it. I was wondering if any of the RADIOS in the above thread would make a diference and if i should flash one as well. Also might be too soon but does anyone have theme information for this rom??

I came from cm7 when I flashed this ROM so I had to clear my data before flashing it. After it was flashed the default wallpaper was a grayish green wallpaper with EVERVOLV written in the top corner. I switched the wallpaper to the GNex wallpaper and I wanted to go back to that wallpaper but I can't find it.

Now that you mention it i kind of remember that one. I'll try and find it later.

It's what we put as the overlay for the default_wallpaper and I'll attach it here. Since wallpaper scrolling isn't fixed yet, it will be misaligned somewhat for now.

I am starting to get more and more random reboots with Tiamat kernel. Also - does anyone else have the problem where if there hit back from something such as the SMS app, it doesn't actually back out, it just reopens the screen you are in... Sort of annoying.

Go into developer settings and tell it to have only 1 app in background or none. Also there is a setting i forget what it is since im not running the rom anymore but its like end all apps when done with them or something to that affect
